Well, do the people really know what they want???

I must admit I am not sure what will happen if they do or what will happen if they don't put this plan into effect.

All I know is I have moved most of my retirement into Gold

Good for you but how do you prepare it for consumption. If there isn't anything to buy the gold is useless.

Most people have no idea what this "bailout" means. It is not wrong to spend this sum of money if it will actually help to avoid a major economic crisis. I don't know that it will that's why I would hope congress would do the legwork to determine the "truth" but this vote was waaaaaaaaayyy tpo politically charged mostly due to McCin injecting himself into a process like a cowboy, a process that id not need him. Pelosi should have shut up before the vote, but any republican who says they voted no because nancy hurt their feelings is ridiculous. My father owns a small buisness that I work for which is heavily dependent on the overall economy and housing and real estate and I just hope we don't tumble out of control. I'm voting for Sen. Obama as I think especially with this crisis he chooses not to be political and a cowboy but rather acts thoughtfully, that's the economic approach we need.
