IKEA recalls product, warns of laceration hazard »
Posted By STONERS 1 year, 2 months ago in NewsThe U.S. Consumers Product Safety Commission and IKEA Home Furnishings have announced a voluntary recall of the product "Kviby Chests." About 5,000 units were sold in the U.S., and an additional 26,000 sold outside the U.S. The glass drawer knobs on the chest can break either during assembly or in use, posing a laceration hazard. There have been three reports of injuries within the U.S. and 11 outside of the U.S.

"The chest is white with four drawers and six glass knobs. The recall includes chests with article number 201-080-90 and a datestamp of 0817 (first two digits indicate the year; the second two digits indicate the week) or earlier."
