I'm in Atlanta. Gas is in short supply. Wife and I will be voting for McCain.

Friends of terrorists don't belong in the White House. People who sit under racist, bigoted preachers for 20 years don't belong in the White House. No amount of political dynamism or perception changes that now or ever. These are non-negotiables for civilized people.
If America is no longer civilized, so be it. But that's a party I won't be joining.-

i'm curious why georgia thinks obama is a "friend of terrorists"? and georgia seems to have based their opinion about Rev. Wright on one, out of context comment.
Reply
while i support georgia's right to vote, i sure hope they will take a good long look at where this country is and how it got there, before they go into the voting booth.
i'm still amazed there is anyone out there who would even consider voting for another republican administration. -

The friends of terrorists are the ones pouring hundreds of billions of our tax dollars into the coffers of nations such as Iraq that are unwilling to protect themselves (after five-plus years we are still their rent-a-cop lackeys?) That is to say nothing about our presence in Germany as well as another dozen countries throughout the world. If the U.S. Military is to be rent-a-cop for the world, we should at least be paid for it. Instead WE pay those who we are "protecting".

And I guess Gov. Palin and the witch hunting pastor are not important to mention. She is seen in a video with Pastor Muthee laying on hands praying to keep witches away from her. Is that acceptable? Do we really need someone who believes in witches with their hands practically on the little red button?

I am voting for Obama as well. However, as I was reading your comment I noticed that you cannot spell. No offense, but people are not going to be convinced by someone who misspells simple words such as muslim and maverick. Use correct spelling and people will care more about what you're saying. Please.

Some people do not agree with Obama or democrats in general. They are not necessarily disagreeing because of race.

For the first time I'm Ashamed of this Country the way they attacked Palin was nothing short of a masacre and I guess people are so stupid I really wish someone would ask the average American what is about Obama they actaully agree with besides his race and they would be dumbfounded. What is the Obama Doctrine. Tell them what they want to hear. Just how is he going to pay for the things he's promised is a good question

The only reason the Maverick picked a woman was to get Hillary's 8 million to come onboard with the republicans. And then, after she showed her truely OBVIOUS lack of knowledge,

the republicans are just soooo upset about Palin getting crusified!?!? She is everything that the Maverick accused Obama of being (inexperienced and too green on foreign policy). Well hello? I bet Obama knows the dignitaries names and respective countries. She should be embarrased. I hope the Maverick can bend his knee better than his shoulders to reach up and get that foot out of his mouth. -

You weren't ashamed of our country when we found out our President and his cabinet lied to us so they could invade Iraq? But you felt ashamed when the media rightfully asked Sarah Palin about her positions and credentials? Seriously?

Go to barackobama.com and find out for yourself. CLick on the issues tab. You can read barack's blueprint for change, which is a very comprehensive and very specific paper regarding a wide range of issues, and what he would do about it. Don't sit there and say "He has no real plan," just because you've been too lazy or bigoted to read it.

YOU WILL NEED THE REPUBLICAN PHILOSOPHY TO CONTINUE TO PROSPER. REPUBLICANS EMPLOY LARGE QUANTITIES OF PEOPLE .IF YOU TRY TO TAKE THEM OUT YOU WILL BE SHOOTING YOURSELVES IN YOUR FEET. THE ECONOMY IS NOT PRODUCING. WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO WRITE CHECKS AND BORROW MONEY WITHOUT BUSINESS PEOPLE. WHERE DO YOU THINK THE MONEY COMES FROM? DO YOU THINK THAT IF WE GET A DEMOCRAT IT WILL HELP? GET READY TO GET MORE POOR THEN YOU ALREADY ARE. THE US ECONOMY IS A CRAP SHOOT AND THE OTHER COUNTRIES ARE WATCHING AS WE CRASH. BE CAREFUL . YOUR TREADING ON THIN ICE.

The bailout reminds me of a young lady who was told her bank account was overdrawn and remarked" I can't be out of money! I'm not out of checks!" Is that the Senate's excuse? No Bailout! They are trying to write a check they can't cash. But come election day I bet the American People can cash a check. I am still trying to reach my Senators, but still no luck getting though. I just read that idiots named Hoyer and Blunt say there are less messages coming in today, if they are turning off the fax machines, bouncing emails, and refusing to answer the phones I wonder why? No Bailout. It will not cure the problem, only make it worse.

For the umpteenth time: No bill can pass without the Senate. The Senate has the filibuster, that requires a higher vote to pass a bill. CONS have filibustered more than NINETY democratic bills. It isn't possible to get anything done when CONS obstruct every single bill. Democrats do NOT have enough votes to stop the CONS. Now knock it off. It's time to grow up and face the reality of WHY nothing has been accomplished. Propaganda is a dirty, filthy business. And that's what you are spewing.

Have you noticed that some of your allies on propeller have been trying to say that the problems with the economy from 2000 to 2006 are democrats fault because the republicans didn't have enough of a majority and the democrats were able to interfere? Now consider, The democrats have an even smaller majority and there is a republican in the white house 2007-2008. How much harder is it for them to get things done under these circumstances?

Let wall street go down. Their accounts should be frozen and jail would be in order for there actions. Any other business would go down. Don't we live in a free market??? Next time I can't pay my tax bill for my business I guess I don't need to worry. I think we will be the laughing stock of the world.

I am an American who is anti-Obama for many reasons and here is one of them:
Reply
Senator Obama violated the Logan Act
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
“He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview.
Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its “state of weakness and political confusion.” -

Lets not forget that Joe Bidden is responsible for most of the Banking industries deregulation that includes new bankruptcy laws protecting banks & giving them the awesome power to charge 30 % plus interest rates & variuos Banking fees such as over-the limit fees, late fees, fees for ATMs, Transfer Fees etc etc. & also sub-prime lending with deceptive marketing to naive customers. Do not let this joker anywhere in the oval office ever.

While I agree with you that the bail out is a bad idea, I think we are well down the slippery slope to oligarchical monopoly capitalism rather than communism. By the way, do you mean communism or Marxist-Leninism? Communism is a general term that covers a variety of beliefs.
