Friends of terrorists don't belong in the White House. People who sit under racist, bigoted preachers for 20 years don't belong in the White House. No amount of political dynamism or perception changes that now or ever. These are non-negotiables for civilized people.
If America is no longer civilized, so be it. But that's a party I won't be joining.-

It is obvious by your stand that you voted for shrub, who has many Saudi friends and they, the Saud's, financed OBL, and have held USA at ransom with their oil, have likely financed ISI of Pakistan who support the Taliban and AQ,
Also shrub has much explaining to do on his idea of treatment of prisoners, or even who is a prisoner.
And as a speaker he don't seem too civilized, more crude and rude like many oil men can be, myself included. Only I have not insulted men with no legs or made young girls cry due to questions asked of me,let alone what contempt he has shown to the armed services of your country.
So you may not join that party, but you have no problem voting for them .

Do you have any idea what the Muslim religion believes in????? Perhaps you have forgotten the war on terrist and oh yes Obama is a Muslim???? The Muslims have made it their life long dream to destroy us. You should certainly read up on how obama practices and believes. For all we know he is their secret weapon and a plant. I can not and will not vote for an individual that practices and self proclaims he will stand by the Muslim way. Yes how very smart vote for the religion that vowed to destroy us.

Once again, you listened to some jake-legged, right-wing preacher who does not know his elbow from his a$$hole. Look, simply put, Obama is not a Muslim. Even if he were, which he is not and never has been, Muslims are not all about killing. Have you ever even opened a Koran to learn more about which you speak? Have you ever read any text beyond the Bible? Your comments border on little more than sheer paranoia. KansasSunflower, summer is over, and your ideas are as wilted as you are. Good luck with that.

Perhaps they do in your state. Here in ARRRR-Kansas they are convinced that he was born in Iran. I fight this misconception daily. But, who am I to argue with the good preacher up the road? It's hard to believe, but the preachers here are telling their congregations this crap on Sunday mornings. What's even more difficult to believe is that the congregation believes it. When will Americans think for themselves again?

"One comment" I could live with. Wright is a racist nut. He believes that the white people created AIDS to kill black people! If Wright only made one comment, why has he faded from the spotlight? Because Obama realized white people might not vote for him if he supported a black supremacist. Also, if Obama is so intelligent as many say why did he state that 700 billion dollars is potentially a lot of money? POTENTIALLY? Give me 0.001% of his potentially a lot of money!

I wish there was a third presidential candidate!!! Oh wait, there probably is, it is just that the democrat and the republican are usually first in votes because they get the most media coverage. And the media's excuse is see they got the most votes, we knew they would which is why we covered them (this is called a self-fulfilling prediction). The media isn't liberal or conservative, it is a piece of crapola. The media is worth about as much as the rotten wood under my toilet. They are totally incompetent no matter who they support.-

you can vote for whoever you want-most people do as they're told and vote for either/or, afraid they're gonna 'waste their vote', but you can write in whoever you want. Just people are conditioned to vote for the people on the ballot. It's a perception becomes reality deal. Everyone thinks everyone else will vote for one of the two, therefore everyone does.

While I'm thinking of it I saw something despicable last night-a McCain ad exploited the financial crisis, claiming Obama will spend a trillion or so beyond the bailout bill.
just sad
supposedly the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, and its just more political fodder. Just another excuse for divide and conquer
one of the lowest things I've seen, really, country freaking out about this and they throwin gas on the fire to burn Obama.
remember when we had that other crisis in 2001, and everyone was united? oh that's right, wasn't an election year
Imagine if it was...would there have been ads throwing blame and dividing us for political purposes? would one campaign be calling the other one 'a friend of terrorists', and fanning the flames of fear? I don't doubt it. That ad makes me doubt that the good of the country is foremost in the GOP's mind....just win, baby -

Speaking of someone that is not very bright, look in the mirror. The president started this war in Iraq, the president failed to stop the increase in oil prices by releasing some of the federal reserve supply, the president borrowed money from China that has the caused the dollar to deflate, etc. The thing that the Democrat congress has done for 1 1/2 years is stop the blank check policy of the Republican congress for the previous 6 years.

Plus, you forgot that TUCC has a web site. The web site was consistent with Wright's hate screed.

The friends of terrorists are the ones pouring hundreds of billions of our tax dollars into the coffers of nations such as Iraq that are unwilling to protect themselves (after five-plus years we are still their rent-a-cop lackeys?) That is to say nothing about our presence in Germany as well as another dozen countries throughout the world. If the U.S. Military is to be rent-a-cop for the world, we should at least be paid for it. Instead WE pay those who we are "protecting".

I was thinking more about the Saudi Royal family. After all 15 of the 19 hijackers on Sept. 11 were Saudi. The Bushes have conducted more business with the Saudis than they ever did with the bin Laden group. Incidentally, the rest of the bin Laden family does not keep ties with Osama. They cut those ties years ago and do not maintain contact with him.

There were no Saudi or any other hijackers, this is the official story of the Bush administration to blackmail Saudis to support the invasion of Iraq. 9/11 was an inside false flag operation to steal oil and to control the wealth of the Muslim world, now it is not enough, the Neocons want to get Iran because Iran is going to produce a nuclear weapon and that will destroy Israel. Israel has more than 200 nuclear warheads but that's ok and that will not protect Israel is the new twist. If Israel can't defend with the weapons they have, why should they need them in the first place?

I have and that's why I agree with the bailout!! Like it? HE double LL NO!! But the alternative sucks MUCH worse!! Just the delay from Tuesday to today has had a very adverse impact on day to day financial operations. I was told that my paycheck had been deposited but that it could not be used yet. Another friend of mine who works for the state has yet to see her paycheck. I have said it before, and I'll repeat it again: This is the one time that trickle down economics holds water! Not bailing out Wall Street would only make matters worse in the long run.
Reply
Sen. Obama has already said that measures will be implemented to help prevent this kind of crisis from rearing it's ugly head again, and I believe he will at least make an honest attempt to do just that. Meanwhile, the Wall Street crisis HAD to be addressed. Any one with any sense should understand that. It does not mean that the perpetrators get to waltz away scot free. Obama is ****** as are many others in leadership, and he will not look the other way and just give the guilty parties a slap on the wrist.

some very good spellers cannot reason their way out of a wet paper bag, and if someone finds an argument more convincing because of the excellent spelling, methinkee they concentrating on the wrong aspect of the argument.
I have this unfortunate typing thing where I lift off the shift before I hit the letter at the beginning of most sentences. But hopefully people don't hold that against me any more than if I spell 'because' 'becuase'[another typing quirk] Many spelling mistakes are really typos. I have spellcheck, but sometimes I'll keep trying different spellings and still be gettin redlined, and just leave the word misspelled.

Yeah, I get the impression Arkansas is alot like southern Missouri. The latest CNN poll is giving a small Obama lead in Missouri, but I'm not holding my breath. The only encouraging thing is he isn't a joke here, yet. Kerry and Gore both were by this time. McCaskill may even swing him unusual support in the rural areas.
Reply
Indiana will be very interesting. Not swung Democratic in at least 40 years, its as close as Missouri now. No McCain presence on the ground and he ignored it until it was to late, I think. Obama waged a war across the map; McCain tried to take a few Democratic strongholds, failed and now is stuck in defensive after Obama's breached the fortress walls and had a presence in the Republican states for some time. Its not pretty for Republicans now. I sometimes go to really hard right-wing Obama is a Muslim Communist sites just to see there reactions. Very entertaining reads from those who comment.
The most surprising thing, to me at least, is Virginia. Obama has led in a majority of the recent polls, sometimes by large margins. North Carolina is also a surprise, getting close, around where Missouri is in the polling.

It isn't possible to get anything done when CONS obstruct every single bill. Democrats do NOT have enough votes to stop the CONS. Now knock it off. It's time to grow up and face the reality of WHY nothing has been accomplished. Propaganda is a dirty, filthy business. And that's what you are spewing.

then where's the ability to work across the aisle?
Reply
its because that ability doesn't exist.
what you're saying is that the only way the democrats can work with anyone is when they have sole control.
so... when O says he's worked across the aisle, he doesn't plan on working with anyone if he gets elected?
yeah..... no. i can't support the dems or O-

To work across the aisle requires both sides be illing to compromise, The REPUBLICANS have declared they will filibuster any bill they dont like period NO compromise NO questions asked. WE dont need that running the runningthe country, It would seem with the mess they;ve made while they had COMPLETE control they shouldn't be saying do it our way or else.

Have you noticed that some of your allies on propeller have been trying to say that the problems with the economy from 2000 to 2006 are democrats fault because the republicans didn't have enough of a majority and the democrats were able to interfere? Now consider, The democrats have an even smaller majority and there is a republican in the white house 2007-2008. How much harder is it for them to get things done under these circumstances?-

Let wall street go down. Their accounts should be frozen and jail would be in order for there actions. Any other business would go down. Don't we live in a free market??? Next time I can't pay my tax bill for my business I guess I don't need to worry. I think we will be the laughing stock of the world.

I am an American who is anti-Obama for many reasons and here is one of them:
Reply
Senator Obama violated the Logan Act
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
“He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview.
Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its “state of weakness and political confusion.” -

Lets not forget that Joe Bidden is responsible for most of the Banking industries deregulation that includes new bankruptcy laws protecting banks & giving them the awesome power to charge 30 % plus interest rates & variuos Banking fees such as over-the limit fees, late fees, fees for ATMs, Transfer Fees etc etc. & also sub-prime lending with deceptive marketing to naive customers. Do not let this joker anywhere in the oval office ever.

While I agree with you that the bail out is a bad idea, I think we are well down the slippery slope to oligarchical monopoly capitalism rather than communism. By the way, do you mean communism or Marxist-Leninism? Communism is a general term that covers a variety of beliefs.

The Fed pumps money into the economy any time it wants to without the charade we are now witnessing. In fact it continues to do so during this so-called crisis. It won't hit the fan until your benefactor (job, unemployment, pension) can't pay you any more. The world economy is a balloon floating on emotion, unwittingly tied to the whims of the market makers circling like vultures over Wall Street. When people get scared and can't pay their bills, the whole system shudders and the grand house of cards tosses off the ones holding the biggest inflated bogus hands. The President merely sets the tone. Choose the tone wisely, the big salvation army band is tuning up for the gig.

Heres a little song you chicken hawk chicken sh*t conservative ignorant greedy arrogant republicowards can sing while Obama wins in a landslide, while your slump off to your facist racist compounds in the Alabama woods, to marry your cousins and have your inbred children and home school them with creationism and evangelical ignorance:
Reply
The republicoward theme song:
Whenever I feel afraid
I hold my head erect
And whistle a happy tune
So no one will suspect
I'm afraid
While shivering in my shoes
I strike a careless pose
And whistle a happy tune
And no one ever knows
I'm afraid
The result of this deception
Is very strange to tell
For when I fool the people
I fear I fool myself as well!
I whistle a happy tune
And ev'ry single time
The happiness in the tune
Convinces me that I'm not afraid
Make believe you're brave
And the trick will take you far.
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are-

From wiki pn NAFTA:
Reply
The United States and Canada had been arguing for years over the United States' decision to impose a 27 percent duty on Canadian softwood lumber imports, until new Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper compromised with the United States and reached a settlement on July 1, 2006.[36] The settlement has not yet been ratified by either country, in part due to domestic opposition in Canada.
So rjmo, what is your point about not taxing imports?
As a Canadian, I feel that NAFTA is a rape job done on Canada.

Also, the reason why we are in this financial crisis is for a variety of reasons. And one major one is because of this senseless war that bush put us into. It claimed so many innocent lives an costed us so much money. This economy needed that money. So, with that said, its your republican buddies that help destroy this economy with them approving to spend billions of dollars for this endless war in Iraq.
Obamaaa alll the way! None of you people wana vote for him just cus hes black!
It doesnt matter what the hell this guy can do for our country in your eyes. You still wouldnt vote for him even if he put thousands of dollars in each of your pockets.
We do not need anymore republican presidents, they do more harm then good to the middle class an lower class people.
Obamaa already beating Mcain in the polls. I see a new Democratic president ahead. Salute! Ha ha -

Bill ayers is a terorist and there are ties between obama and ayers that obama and his camp have been hiding from his comunity organizing days look it up . that is where he lerned how to work up a crowd and get them to want to take action " yes we can " he whole campain is based on the things he lerned then . they would " lobby " and protest "some times to the point of riots" the force government to pay for projects they wanted do in the comunity . now if he gets in office where is the money going to come from ? BIG BUISNESS from all there profits ? the economy is not strong enough to do that people WILL loose jobs and some companys would go bankrupt like the ones they are bailing out now . sound like a good plan till you look at the end result

WAKE UP AMERICA FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY DO NOT BE FOOLED; you are smarter than that do not believe the polls I don't undrstand what people think qualifies Obama to be the next president? The reason for the Wall Street problems is because of the Dems/Liberals but you will not hear a peep about it on the evening news, I will briefly explain the media is so quick to blame the president for everything he however only has 1/3rd of the power in Washington Wall St crahed and we are in financial turmoil because the Dems/Liberals(Obama and his friends) forced private institutions (the banks) to give home loans to uncreditworthy people and minorities for ex. I make $1000 a month and I was approved to buy a home for 90,000 dollars but I also have 3 children and a wife to support of course these people won't be able to make their mortgage payments. It's that simple the government got involved in the private sector. It is not the goverments responsibility to provide healthcare for everyone or house everyone. When the government starts doing these things be afraid these are steps to Socialism/Communism we are a Sovereign Nation we are to remain free the government does not need its nose in all of our business. McCain is by far the wisest choice again PLEASE DO NOT BE BRAINWASHED THE MEDIA IS CONTROLLED BY A SELECT FEW WHO WANT US TO BE DEPENDENT ON THE GOVERNMENT AND ULTIMATELY THEM. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE EENING NEWS PUSHES YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE BIAS.

Taxes under McCain are inevitable seeing the multi- trillion dollar debts he has supported and still does. He is very insincere when he tries to claim Obama will raise your taxes .Obama will raise McCain's tax and by all rights we should confiscate all his and his supporters assets for the damage they have done .He in fact has tripled the size of government and paid for nothing. -
