The GOP Is a Party of Socialism and Big Government »

Bush, wants to spend $700 BILLION of tax payer money on corporate financial bailouts. He also has overseen the largest increase in national debt EVER. He has expanded government interference. He created BIG GOVERNMENT in numerous ways, including the creation of Homeland Security. He has increased the ability of the Federal Government to snoop into its citizens lives. He has increased the role of religion in government decisions, because of his personal beliefs. He has limited the role of science in his decisions. He has flip flopped on numerous issues including, but not limited to: Global Climate Change, the State of the Economy, the number of troops needed in Iraq, the number of troops needed in Afghanistan, talking to Iran, US role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and many more. The idea that the GOP is the party of small government, fiscal conservatism and less government interference in our lives is absolutely baseless since 2000.
