Sen Feinstein Receives 91,000 calls, 85,000 Against the Bailout Bill »
Posted By Stringcheese 1 year, 1 month ago in Political NewsDuring this evening’s Senate vote, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) explains that she received 91,000 calls and emails, with 85,000 of them opposed to the measure. Even armed with the knowledge that 93% of her constituents passionate enough to contact her office pleaded for her to vote “nay”, she votes in favor of the bill, claiming that “there is a great deal of confusion out there” and these people “don’t understand” the situation.

It is incredible how easy it is for liberal democrats to lie. Diane say she is worried about small businesses and she says people can't get loans to buy a house or car. What weasel words this old bitty can sprout, you can certainly get a loan if you qualify. I will say that anyone in the used car business might be having a bit of trouble. Seem like they forget that 95% of us do pay our mortgages and car payments.

The 85K calls she got telling her to vote no were just confused people but what about the 200 Economists who said this was a bad deal for Wall Street and the American Taxpayer? Are they confused, Diane?-

Remember to hold these candidates responsible, and also remind your House Reps how you want them to vote Friday on the revised Bailout bill.

I think you need to reflect upon both parties and how they voted. There were plenty of liberal democrats that voted no. To suggest that this was strictly partisan is wrong.

How about the admin that you are so fond of supporting? What are they? -

Last time I checked, there were PLENTY of Repugnant Cons supporting this craphole of a bill. No reason to blame one side or the other. Both are to blame. -

I called Senator Mark Pryor's office on Wednesday and Thursday and spoke with his staff about the earmarks in the Senate Rescue/Bailout Bill and both time they told me there were no earmarks in the bill. They were lying, of course, don't these people know these things are available to us peons on the web these days. Lies only make it worse. I'd love to vote and throw this jerk out he's running but has no opponent!

Go around and suggest yourself as a write in candidate. Or - write in "ANYONE BUT HIM." Be sure to make a box and put an "X" with the sticks crossing INSIDE the box, or it won't count. Hell, they won't count it anyway, but so what?

That's just about typical. The damned fools in Congress get things into a total FUBAR, then find the ONLY way they can think of to fix anything is to throw lots of money at it and create YET ANOTHER layer of government bureaucracy, then they pass it while claiming we out here in the real world are "confused about it." BULLSH!T. They just HOPE we are confused by their lying garbage so we don't march on D.C., DRAG them out of their offices, and ride them out of town on a rail with a lovely coat of tar and feathers.

Free market, flea market. This bill is designed as welfare for those who have proven they cannot manage high finance. The government will pay to much for bad assets while the good stuff will remain with the players. I want my royalty checks from real equity. Remember when local and regional banks supported our economy? A better plan would have put money in those hands to keep credit flowing while saying sorry to those who gambled and lost.

This bill was a hijacking by pirates from the Federal Reserve and the banking cartel - a complete takeover of banks, mortgages and insurance. This was the final piece in the puzzle leading to global dominance. In a month or two there will new reforms further strengthening the tyranny. Next will come hyper-inflation, unemployment, food and gas shortages, mandatory poison filled vaccine shots and FEMA camps. Goodbye liberty, hello slavery.
