first of all...it is against the law for a lender to deny an applicant based on age. If she is on a fxed income. her income is the same now as it was 10 yrs ago. Second and most important, I think it is sad that it takes someone trying to kill themselves for the mortgage association to work with work with the customer. They could have done something to help her beofre all of this happened.
