I DON'T THINK THIS POOR LADY WAS TRYNG TO STIFF ANYONE AND IF SHE WAS ISN'T THAT WHAT THIS NATION HAS BEEN ABOUT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE MAJOR STIFFERS COMING OVER HERE FROM ENGLAND AND SITTING UP THIS STIFFING SOCIETY WE LIVE IN? AS LONG AS A PERSON LIVES AND IS IN THEIR RIGHT MIND THEY WILL ALWAYS HAVE WANTS AND DESIRES, AND WHO KNOWS WHAT HERS WAS. I JUST THINK THINK FANNIE MAE AND WHOEVER IT WAS THAT DECIDED TO PAY HER LOAN OFF AFTER THE FACT WAS JUST AS GUILTY AS SHE IS. THIS WHOLE ENTIRE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE THROWN OUT AND A COMPLETELY NEW ONE PUT IN IT'S PLACE. THIS LADY WAS NINETY YEARS OLD AND HAD WORKED TO OWN HER OWN HOME THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HER ANYTHING SHE WANTED AT HER AGE! WITH ALL THE STEALING AND STEALING AND STEALING GOING ON ON "THE HILL" "WALL STREET" AND "WITHIN CORPORATE AMERICA" EVERY ONE IN AMERICA ESPECIALLY SENIORS SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE ABLE TO HAVE THEIR OWN HOME, FURNINISHINGS, CAR, FOOD, AND ETC. WITH THE GOVERNMENT BAILING OUT CORPORATE AMERICA WITH $700 BILLION DOLLARS!! IT JUST ANGERS EVERYONE IN THIS SO-CALLED DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY. AND I FOR ONE AM ******.

They had to loan her the money if she qualified by her credit score. It is against the law and the fair lending act to discriminate based on age. The bank and or mortgage company could be fined a lot of money for doing that.
