Of course, I'm included in the same paragraph as member 'UnDumbed' making one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen, (and I've read many of FSU's, lovmylibs, and aniokly's comments!)>/i>... but I guess you can't choose your company on these things.
Thanks JM. -

Wonderful WIR James, you have such a talent at capturing the essence of the treads, the personalities on them, and then encapsulating them into great reviews of really hectic news weeks.

I wish you could submit this particular item right on to the front page so that we can see it sooner. I look forward to it so that I can catch up on threads I miss out on and feel like your WIR article is our community "News Paper".
Have a great weekend!-

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Eagle Eye, and I agree, ti does function as something of a community newspaper. (All we're missing is a gossip column and some Want Ads.) As for front-page exposure, I believe we will be bringing back some kind of Featured Story module, so that will put the WIR back in the spotlight on weekends. Speaking of which: have a great one yourself :).

"I send the AOL News team an assortment of Propeller articles every morning (along with an occasional salvo in the afternoon). Then they choose what they like"

Just out of curiosity, did this story get put on AOL?
http://www.propeller.com/story/2008/10/03/biden-14...
This story has generated 11,000+ reads, yet no one else on the home page has even hit 1,000. We're just curious as to how that can be, are people only reading one story on the home page? Some times my bird brain has a hard time grasping the human world.-

No, that story did not appear on the AOL Welcome Screen, so the high number of reads is surprising and perhaps a little suspect. Not impossible, though. In any case, we are looking into some prop/page view metrics issues, and will let you know when we have any results.
