  How many years ago was it that the inquisition and crusades happen David?
  Many have stated, myself included that you need to learn the past so not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
  Also many have pointed out patterns in history; so after 1100-1200 years as a religion, Christianity went on the Crusades, add 1100-1200 years to Islam and that is where they are
