    Again with the comparing a bad thing to a bad thing.

    Vietnam = Bad
    Iraq = Bad
    Getting OBL & Taliban = Good

    Seems like we want to do bad things.

    On 9/12, the admin wanted to go after Iraq. Powell told DR, DC, and GB that it would be hard to find support for such an effort considering the evidence that the 9/11 attacks came from OBL and Al Qaeda. It took a day or two of convincing before the admin decided to go to Afghanistan first before going after Iraq. Iraq was the target the admin wanted, whether it had any relationship or tie to the 9/11 event or not.

      And that started in 1992 with PNAC; Iraq was a marked nation 8 years before shrub got into power, all else was a smokescreen.
