As usual too many people hold the president at fault for actions going on in the US. If any president acts in an illegal manner then it is congress' DUTY to hold him accountable. As too many people think the president has lied about so many things. The congress voted to allow him to do what he did in Iraq. The congress has the power to stop most anything he does. If he has broken any laws then the House of Representatives should impeach him. If not impeachable then support his actions. Congressional folk have every right to differ with the president as long as it stops at the shores. Running down America by any Congressional person should be reason for action by the ethical committees of the appropreiate chamber.

The congress has been controlled up to two years ago by the Republicans and they where completely complicit with the Presidents actions. The new Democratic majority doesn't have enough votes to bring any charges. What does all this equal? A free pass.

We do support our American fighting forces. One of the best ways is to not send them to unnecessary wars wasting their lives and limbs.-

The senate did not have more than sixty rep/dems during that time frame. That means one senator can hold up the entire process untill sixty senators override the filibuster.

As a life long registered democrat and a 22 year military veteran I sent to a war zone. Too many of my fellow military men and women lost their lives or were subjected to utter chaos changing their lives forever.
Sometimes those in charge must make undesirable decisions. No one I know enjoyed sending our military members out to face almost certain death.
Most of the men I served with were drafted!! Think about that!!
