McCain was in the Navy when Johnson bombed our ship in the Gulf of Tonkin so I guess that would put him in cohorts with Johnson.

"The reason the Ayers / Obama / terrorism issue will not die out despite massive efforts to just make it go away, is the very fact that Obama has failed really come clean on the issue."
Obama has denounced Ayers' radical views and activities but the reason it will die out is the drop in the polls for McCain because of these tactics. The American people are tired of this kind of election tactics and only the Republican supporters want to hear this kind of negative campaign because they're desperate. Obama has a large lead in Florida, Ohio, and Virginia now. What does that tell you?
