When you apply for any federal job, there is obligatory background check. Obama could not become a cop.

        ROTFLMAO
I love it. I get to tell the story again.

        Keating 5
        4 Democrats
        1 Republican

John Glen and John McCain were exonerated of all wrongdoing in that affair.

The other three Democrats were found guilty of ethics violations and given the wors censure by the ethics committee. Those three never served again after their term was up.

Three bad boy Democrats. I love this.

Why was McCain even involved in the investigation at all??? Five senators were at the meeting that was called to back off federal regulators from looking at Lincoln Savings. McCain was one of them because Keating asked him to be there because of their close ties. During the investigation the independent counsel gave someone a free pass for ratting out the other four. In order to make it look otherwise he threw in Glen as well on the free pass. Guess who the rat was Endo.
