    It isn't Ayers past. It's what the schools were teaching that Obama did have direct connections with. It has been reported that Ayers feels the curriculum was a continuation of his radical bomber days. Research what that was all about and you'll see why this is a problem.

      What were they teaching, and what was Obama's role in setting the curriculum?

        Obama, as I understand it, didn't set the curriculum, but was instrumental in approving the funding. I wish I had linked the article at the time,I can't find it, yet, to review it again to be sure I was accurate. I'll be more careful in the future. What I remember that struck me was that they observed UN holidays in place of traditional American holidays, and that they did not improve the education of the students.
