Jan 16, 2008 (right before you-know-who was nominated), Wolfie2007 said right here on Propeller:

    Hehe...I just love to show them the sharp contrast in their words and remind them every waking moment that we know EXACTLY what cons are all about. Party over country. Tax cuts, cheap gas they can burn up at will over protecting the planet. Fake anti-abortion rhetoric over insuring all of America's children. Bailouts for Wall Street and massive student loans for main street. And on and on...Wolfie is one of the most transparent cons on Propeller. ;-P

        DK, I don't give a crap what you think is pork or how much fat Rosie has on her thighs. Before the GOP got booted, you people probably thought an earmark was some sort of body tattoo. If you weren't concerned about the first 6 years of Bush's administration, what you think of it now means SQUAT. The Democrats are doing what they think is necessary to help some of the people who were SCREWED OVER during Bush's first six years in office and I applaud them for this.
        
        And don't worry. The budget ax will start swinging as soon as Obama is elected. 100K no bid contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan, New Orleans and elsewhere? SLASH. Billions in tax cuts for Big Oil. WIPE. Billions in corporate freebies for all the people Bush and Cheney bribed for votes. FIZZT (or something like that). The point is, we're gonna get our money back and start spending it responsibly where it's SUPPOSED to be spent. And this 10 billion per month crap in Iraq is coming to an end, baby. That crapola is goin' DOWN.

        Pork that adds to enormous inflationary spending is helping people? If you want to help them, stop spending so damn much money! Most economists and myself weren't wild about the bailout plan to begin with, yet both parties' leadership and both Presidential candidates supported it. Pork riders unrelated to the bill aren't helping anyone.
        
        Obama will be spending in New Orleans and elsewhere alright. I'm not for the inflationary spending that has resulted from the war but it won't end instantly, regardless of who gets elected. Obama will say what is necessary to get your support then wind down the war basically the same way that McCain would. Don't pretend that he's got a fiscal magic wand or the political will to use it. After all the stupid crap in the bailout bill, it's clear that the Dem leadership sees it as business as usual, just a larger amount of pork this time.

        sTOP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY?? You said that? YOUR boy in 4 years managed to double the debt, that means he spent more in 4 years than ALL other Presidents did in over 230 years. And the Dems are spending money????

  Btw, when I voted for George Bush, twice, it wasn't because he was a conservative, because he's not and never was, it was because he was the best man running and it's the same with John McCain.

    Yeah. That's the problem, Wolfsie. It's the unbelievably poor judgement and moral relativism of cons like you which got us into the hellhole our country is today. That you don't question your judgement after foisting the likes of Newt and George Bush on us is a testament to extreme con arrogance, narcissism, and willfulness. Your hubris and failure to learn from (or even acknowledge) your mistakes is the reason we don't trust you people near a voting booth (and that's whether it involves you pulling a lever or designing a voting machine) and we sure as hell don't trust McBush or the beauty pageant runner up with the journalism degree (who doesn't read, debate intelligently or speak in coherent sentences) to run our country. But keep up your desperate spinning, dodging and crap smearing until you faint from exhaustion for all I care. McLib and Sarah Plain and Dumb ain't gonna happen to this country under my watch.         ROFLMAO, its always amazing that with complete control of the government the Republicans are unable to stop individuals from corrupting the entire economic structure of the government. Why exactly would I want to elect a party into office tht you;ve repeatedly shown is incapable of getting legislation passed that would have averted the current disiaster?? When in actuality they passed leislation that laid the foundation for the current crisis.
