I am sick and tired of these so-called "racial" comments. Get over it already - how in the world can you claim the Ayers close association with Obama is racial? Get a grip....Obama IS associated with anti-Americans and terrorists - Does that make it racial? I think not...it is simply the truth...The most Marxist Socialist candidate is vying for the President of our United States, and you don't think that's scary folks??? It sure as hell ain't "racist" . Again, it's the pure unadulterated fact. God bless America and please, please, see Obama for who he is and save our country from him.

Instead of the mudslinging that is currently taking place in the Republican campaign, I would prefer to hear what McCain is going to do about issues that affect our country. Making negative comments about Obama's ties to Ayers is indicative of the fact that McCain is in trouble and trying to deflect his campaign weakness. During that period in our history, there were many Americans who were dissatisfied with what was taking place in our country. Obama was a young boy at that time. So what if he knows Ayers? Big deal! He did not actively engage in Ayers' misdeeds. We as American citizens need to make sound choices when we vote and not be influence by such foolishness. Palin needs to look in her own backyard at the unpatriotic deeds of her husband which some people may view as unpatriotic as well. For some who could not name one newspaper a week or so ago, she is now reading the newspapers? Silly me, I thought that once we had a woman in the position of possibly being a VP she would not allow herself to stoop so low. I am definitely dissappointed in Palin.

So was Bush and you didn't seem to have a problem voting for him did you? I mean he was raised alongside Bin Laden. Bush and Bin Laden families were practically related.
Reply
So why did you have no problem when it was Reagan and Bush and now Bush the second having ties to terrorists? And REAL terrorists. The people who attacked us. And yet you now seem to drill the fact that a real estate developer gave some money to an organization that may have links to al quaeda. Why is that?

Obama was not a "friend" on Ayers. They moved in same circles and did belong to groups together. Obama was 8 yrs old when Ayers was doing his bombing and had no input. Obama addressed this issued during debates will Hillary. Only Fox news brings this up and up. Can you say Keating Five.

I oppose Obama because of his policy on abortions
Reply
I oppose Obama because of his policy on taxing small businesses
I oppose Obama because of his policy on Iraq
I oppose Obama because of his policy on education
I oppose Obama because of his energy policies
I oppose Obama because of his foriegn policies
I oppose Obama because of his policy on universal government run health care
I oppose Obama because of his voting record
But since I oppose Obama because of his policies, I am considered a racist. Now for my racist comment: If Obama was white, he would have never made it past the first few primaries. How can I say that? Easy, no white male candidate with the same policies and views and voting record as Obama ever made it past the first few primaries.
BTW, I have a friend whose mother is white, as is Obama's, and whose father was black, as is Obama's, yet this man has the appearance of a caucasian. Question: would Obama have made it this far if he had inherited more of his mother's racial traits?

Wow, the dumb-o-crats really do have issues with race don't they? I listened (new concept here for all you dumb-o-crats) and read (verbatim) Gov. Palin's remarks about NObama's association with Ayers, then broke open a dictionary and thesaurus (for those dumb-o-crats who don't know what those tomes are, they're books that bring DEFINITION to the english language) and dissected it word by word. There were NO racial tones, intended or implied. This election seems to be based on the dumb-o-crats plying on making the white voter feel guilty about being prejudice or racist. Our current nominees for President of the United States are a no-history, no-honor, no experience man of mixed racial origin, and a man with a rich history of service and honor to the people of America. Hmmm, seems like a no-brainer to me.

dude, you realize how dumb that comes off? Tones aren't found in individual words you can look up in a dictionary or thesaurus. They're found in combinations and choices of words; they are found in the relation of those words to current events.
Reply
That relation to current events is the only thing that could possibly have caused anyone to think that "Lipstick on a Pig" referred to Palin, even though it was said about McCain's plans and has been a common phrase used by both sides during their respective campaigns.
The way you look at race is black and white. You look at McCain's military service and think it is enough, then you see Obama doesn't have military service, but his relationships (the same ones you overlook with McCain) make you doubt him.
I don't think that military service automatically makes a man an "honorable American," many dishonorable deeds are done by service members, which in no way reflect on the other members.
I look at the relative intelligence, the willingness to listen, the ability to identify with the underdog, and I see Obama as a stronger choice. McCain has an incredible ability to side with the winners and the successful, the ones who least need looking after. If the president isn't watching out for these people, they'll watch out for themselves. A president has to look out for all people, including those who might not be able to look out for themselves.

Obama has some character flaws that need to be addressed. Fact is he does associate with terrorist people and past involvement with ACORN that has a history of voter fraud. Once again, they are saying that ANY criticism of Obama, no matter what it is, is "racist." Perhaps I am just "a typical white person" (as Obama called his grandmother....a racist remark?) but I don't see how pointing out Obama's associations with these dangerous radicals is racist. Ayers is white, and an unrepentant terrorist; Rezko is a Syrian born Muslim, and convicted criminal; Rev. Wright and Louis Farakhan are black racists, but Father Pflager is white. Saul Alinsky was a white Communist. Reila Odinga was a black Kenyan Communist. Obama's close ties to these people, and to ACORN (which had a BIG part in bringing about our current financial crisis) deserve close scrutiny. Obama seems to have pursued an "equal opportunity" policy in closely associating with anti American radicals and organizations (and benefiting financially and politically from those associations). Why is mentioning these things "racist"?

Your criticisms of Obama may or may not be racist.
Reply
They are, however, stupid.
Once again, Ayers has never been convicted of terror, and the government declined to press charges against him. Obama was NINE YEARS OLD when the Weathermen were doing their bombing.
Obama has NO association with Louis Farrakhan. Father Pfleger is a loudmouth, but also well-respected among members of the Catholic Church as well as members of local and state government for helping underprivileged and poor neighborhoods in Chicago.
Saul Alinsky died when Obama was TEN YEARS OLD.
This is the extent of Obama's connection to Raila Odinga (WOW are you reaching):
http://africa.reuters.com/wire/news/usnL08727241.h...
If you really think our financial crisis stems solely from overextended mortgages, you're sadly mistaken. You may want to look up the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which removed protections set in place during the 1930s to ensure banks didn't overextend themselves. Yes, that "Gramm" is Phil Gramm, Sen. McCain's good friend and top economic advisor, who was responsible for deregulating the financial industry, weakening the SEC, as well as disallowing oversight of the energy-trading industry, paving the way for Enron's scams.
Or you may want to study up on the S failures of the 1980s, caused by poor oversight of the financial industry. When you do, you'll discover Charles Keating (very close friend of John McCain), central figure in the influence-peddling scandal that led to the failures of several S, among them Keating's Lincoln Savings & Loan and Neil Bush's Silverado.

Dont you crazy demorats know that even if he wins, the republicans will spend the next 3 years cutting him onto little pieces and will end up throwing him to the very goons who now think he is our next savior... The blame game wont change anything... Who you going to blame next time..??? People and their insipid desires never change, only the events change... Look at you foolish Americans, you have destroyed your own Country.. You are grossly obeese, demand instant gradification thru your drugs, your alcohol abuse, your constant attention for sex, your drive to get your way through fat cat lawyers.. You are way overpaid, you are the most greedy people of this planet, you lie to get your way, and step on anybody in your way.. Look at your habits, the worthless TV movies and commercials you watch, the way you treat your families, your children, and your animals.. You demand the newest adult toys, your gas gussling cars, your materialistic things... Enough here... Now you want to blame other corrupt politicians for everything that is wrong with this Country.. ITS ALL YOUR FAULTS.... Only you, not your neighbors...

Sarah Palin requisitioned quite a bit of money for Alaska's aerial shooting of wolves program. According to the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, she is an enemy to animals there. Palin also led the way this past legislative session on measures to increase hunting in Alaska including by destroying in as cruel a way as possible wolves, wolverines and brown bears. She's a hypocrite!! Palin says she's pro-life but then contradicts herself by supporting and taking part in the killing of our animals and wildlife. Sarah Palin your a damned hypocrite!! You got a fight coming Palin!!!! She offered a bounty of $150 for each left front leg of freshly killed wolves. As mayor of Wasilla, she made rape victims pay for their own forensic evidence kits. She used $400,000 of state money to fund a propaganda campaign in support of aerial hunting. She is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species because it might limit oil exploitation. While mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire the city librarian because the librarian refused to censor books. She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power. She is opposed to listing the Cook Inlet beluga whale as an endangered species. She has no international experience and only obtained her first passport just last year (2007). Once again is the season for the hypocratic Republican party to try and judge another front runner for with swift boat attacks. I am not scared of someone Obama knew who did some crazy things back when Obama was a kid. It was the 60's and it was the craziest time in American history. Now being from Texas I can tell you how Mccain and Bush's two brothers were involved with the collapses of S which cost 20+thosands jobs and, life savings, futures. Here we are once again with the only Bush not in charge talking no new taxes and the world economy failing due to mismangement on his watch, who Mccain voted with 95% of the time and you think people are going to fall for the swift boat crap again. You will lose every state that you think is a toss up. People have had enough of the lies the outings, the no bid contracts, 300,000,000 spent a week in Iraq while millions of Americans can't pay thier house note since some guy in India got thier job. And some a**hole telling me to vote Mccain for change.LOL, get real get a life and get with the fact that we will be electing anything but Republican. God Bless America, Obama/Biden and our soldiers who will be coming home from that police action in Iraq. O and as a Vet I wish to remind you that Mccain voted against more money for are injured and voted against a modern GI Bill so he lost the retired and Disabled vote when he alligned himself with anybody but us 20% rating from VA. Either your for soldiers or against us and he chose to side with big government and waste and abuse in Iraq but not take care of us! So come election day we will ensure that he finishes his miserable life out as the senator of AZ.

Funny folks, funny comments, both Democrat and Republican. Sounds like both of your groups want big government. A book to read is the Forgotten Man. And then look at what big government has done. I say vote out the incumbents for the next three consecutive elections. The Democrats are as much if not more at fault about the mortgage meltdown, and the Republicans did nothing but enjoy the benefits of the false market values. We will be at 10% unemployment next year and a dow of about 8000 if lucky. I want to see Obama or McCain try to budget that...oh yeah, their special interest groups still run the country. We need term limits in congress. And get rid of those Ayers types along with Limbaughs and Hannitys. We need a third party, not the socialist or con-party. You all need to quit giving money to these folks (Dem and Repubs). Hell, let's have another revolution folks. And then we will rewrite the constitution...a bill of rights and responsibilities.

Ayers is an admitted terrorist. If Obama does not address his affiliation with Ayers, then others will. Nothing racist about it, it's about the voter's right to know about the people and events that have shaped a candidate's viewpoint. Obama threw Rev. Wright under the bus, Ayers may as well join him. Of course, the good Rev. Wright did say "He (obama) has to say these things to get elected..."
