I am sick and tired of these so-called "racial" comments. Get over it already - how in the world can you claim the Ayers close association with Obama is racial? Get a grip....Obama IS associated with anti-Americans and terrorists - Does that make it racial? I think not...it is simply the truth...The most Marxist Socialist candidate is vying for the President of our United States, and you don't think that's scary folks??? It sure as hell ain't "racist" . Again, it's the pure unadulterated fact. God bless America and please, please, see Obama for who he is and save our country from him.

Instead of the mudslinging that is currently taking place in the Republican campaign, I would prefer to hear what McCain is going to do about issues that affect our country. Making negative comments about Obama's ties to Ayers is indicative of the fact that McCain is in trouble and trying to deflect his campaign weakness. During that period in our history, there were many Americans who were dissatisfied with what was taking place in our country. Obama was a young boy at that time. So what if he knows Ayers? Big deal! He did not actively engage in Ayers' misdeeds. We as American citizens need to make sound choices when we vote and not be influence by such foolishness. Palin needs to look in her own backyard at the unpatriotic deeds of her husband which some people may view as unpatriotic as well. For some who could not name one newspaper a week or so ago, she is now reading the newspapers? Silly me, I thought that once we had a woman in the position of possibly being a VP she would not allow herself to stoop so low. I am definitely dissappointed in Palin.

Unfortunately, both sides have said some pretty nasty things about the other. Neither Obama nor McCain have come out and actually "done" anything to help in our global financial crises, and anyone who thinks we can just skate through this mess should pull his/her head out of the sand. We don't want more corporate breaks, but, we also shouldn't have a looming huge government health care costs or a bail out to people who knew they couldn't afford the house they decided to purchase. Stupid words come out of people's mouths during times like these. Having woman running does not make Sarah Palin sound, just as with Hillary. It is the person and what that person can do for us, not who is the most popular politically. Children learn bickering lessons early. Maybe the majority of voters need to grow up a little.

Femalto, As far as huge government health care costs, both the Democrats and the Republicans proposed some kind of health care plan, unfortunately these plans were formulated before the government had to spend 700 billion dollars to bail out Wall Street, not the people who should not have gotten a loan in the first place. Their homes have been foreclosed on and these banks are holding mortgages on houses that have lost a good part of their value and no one wants to buy at this time. It's truly a mess and no one really has an answer or knows for sure what is going to happen? This bail out is just a tournequet and surgery is going to be needed to correct the problem. Like many health conditions, doctors can have different opinions of what is the best way to treat? I don't blame the two candidates from withholding a plan, it's not something you want to make a quick decision on and get it wrong.

First, the Obamas have been long time friends with Ayers. If Barrack wins, that means an unrepentant terrorist has access to the White House. The same White House he and his friends wanted to destroy.

You people are just unreal. Nothing in your article shows any type of connection between these two men other than they were advising on the same project. I worked with a guy last year that murdered an old man in cold blood. So am I an accessory to murder? By your logic they should lock me up.

Do you really believe Obama is anti-American? That he would sell this country right down the river like the GOP has for the last 8 years? Borrowing from the Chinese and OPEC.
Your political bias has really caused something to come loose in your brain. Completely non-sensical. For Palin to raise this is not racist, it is just stupid and sad. It would be a travesty for this to change even one vote. Republicans have no shame and haven't for years.

Think John McCain doesn't have a "more-than-passing-acquaintance" that could prove to be politically damaging?

McCain's "own Bill Ayers":

Someone who has been convicted of felony and conspiracy, who is unrepentant and admittedly plotted to do much worse (murder, "if necessary"), who was the point man in the most egregious undermining of Presidential trust in this nation's history, would have access to the White House. The same White House he and his cohorts put to shame. And Sen. McCain has never disavowed him.

I had pizza for breakfast so I guess i'm a racist since so many think that anything and everything is racist. Terrorism is not a race and all these terrorists that people are bringing up are not running for president of the USA. Barack Hussein Obama with all his terrorist and muslim (muslim not a race either) friends is the most dangerous man to ever run for president of the USA. Wake up before it is too late. Don't let the liberal media tell you what to do, think for yourself.

Any other previous dems give us socialism?
So you like the last 8 years of damage done to our country under repugs... and want more! 1.2 million dead Iraqis not enough for ya? 11.3 Trillion debt not enough for ya?
Has to be racism as you fools just can't even validate your "unadulterated" lies!

Obama was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active. Your attempt to connect Obama with events of almost forty years ago is ridiculous. If Ayers had been found guilty of radical activities, he'd be in prison. He isn't. He's a College Professor.
Reply
Ayers was against the Vietnam war. Lots of people were. Didn't make them terrorists. And Ayers was found guilty of nothing. That makes your trying to link both of them to terrorism propaganda. Put another way, a lie.-

One of John McCain’s biggest fundraisers “oversaw the payment of roughly $1.7 million to a Colombian paramilitary group that is today designated a terrorist organization by the United States.” HuffPost reports that Carl Lindner, the former CEO of Chiquita Brands, “paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (known by the Spanish acronym AUC),” which is described by George Washington University’s National Security Archive as an ‘illegal right-wing anti-guerrilla group tied to many of the country’s most notorious civilian massacres.’”

Nope! Just what is wrong with our country. Karma is, having to bail out Wall Street, when Welfare to the needy was such a bad thing. $356.00 a month vs. 840 billion dollars. When your brain view the world through your eyes, it probably sleeps.

Palin probably was elected as Governor, she must have had at least one good quality.oops, so was Bush elected. May be they are both plants by terrorist to destroy this country. Good Job!

If Ayers and Obama are NOT friends then why did Obama kick start his politcal career in Ayers' living room ? Ayers is NOT the only questionable person in Obama's past, what about the rascist, America hating Jeremiah Wright, and Frank Marshall Davis to name a few .

So was Bush and you didn't seem to have a problem voting for him did you? I mean he was raised alongside Bin Laden. Bush and Bin Laden families were practically related.
Reply
So why did you have no problem when it was Reagan and Bush and now Bush the second having ties to terrorists? And REAL terrorists. The people who attacked us. And yet you now seem to drill the fact that a real estate developer gave some money to an organization that may have links to al quaeda. Why is that?
Is it just that you like hypocrisy? -

Obama friendships with William Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, Raila Odinga, Saul Alinsky and other radicals should make even his supporters stop and think about Obama's character and judgment.

Obama was not a "friend" on Ayers. They moved in same circles and did belong to groups together. Obama was 8 yrs old when Ayers was doing his bombing and had no input. Obama addressed this issued during debates will Hillary. Only Fox news brings this up and up. Can you say Keating Five.
