Heck, we all know how much the Bush/Rove neocon crowd hated McCain.

And it was obvious after 2006, that a ground-swell of anti-republican sentiment was building over the war, the economy, the hilarious scandals,
-so they handed a doomed nomination to someone they hated.
After goading him to sell his soul to do it.
