I would not link terrorists with any political party at all. Not Sarah Palin and especially anyone in the Democratic party. Both parties will have radical supporters of some kind who will inevitably switch their campaigning for whoever wins the nomination because a Democrat wants a democrat to win. They may try their best to have their favorite win but using hateful, untrue comments will hurt the party and I would think that the comments probably originate from the opposing party. For example, a Republican would do well in hurting the Democratic party by starting a rumor that looks like it originated within the Democratic party. This splits up the party and people don't vote when it comes election day. This is an old trick. DON'T LET THE REPUBLICAN PARTY INFILTRATE US BY LISTENING TO THE LIES OR REPEATING THE LIES. Do you not understand how that works? It's call "Divide and Conquer". Stop repeating the comments that supposedly came from Democratic voters. More than likely the rumor came in from the opposing party. Your comments may have caused some of the Hillary supporters not to go to the polls on election day because of your bitter remark that may not have been created by any of us. Think about it! Outsiders will say, "Democrats fight among themselves so who needs to say anything against them." I was a Hillary supporter. I did not use any hate or lies against Obama. I never said anything at all about him. I just favored Hillary. I was for Hillary for the same reason that Hillary said to vote for Obama. I voted for the one person that I thought was the more experienced Democrat. That's what we need to beat the pants off of a Republican. Hillary asked for my support to vote for Obama during the Democratic Convention. I will vote for Obama. I campaign for Obama right now. I make those calls and pass out the pins, posters, and stickers. I read all about him just as I did Hillary and can defend him in any accusation. Yes, both candidates will say things that they believe to be true that will discredit one another. This is because people with misinformation find their way into mainstream politics. FIGHT REPUBLICANS - NOT US. Kiss and make up if you're Democrats. Otherwise you are not on our side. Forget and forgive and don't tag any of our party as terrorists. Thank you.

I had pizza for breakfast so I guess i'm a racist since so many think that anything and everything is racist. Terrorism is not a race and all these terrorists that people are bringing up are not running for president of the USA. Barack Hussein Obama with all his terrorist and muslim (muslim not a race either) friends is the most dangerous man to ever run for president of the USA. Wake up before it is too late. This terrorism smear has the fingerprint of Karl Rove written all over it. That is if he didn't teach other Republicans his dirty tricks. Remember his rumor about McCain's black child in 2000 SC primary?

Obama has already stated that he condemns the actions of Avery so what else would the Republicans want him to do? Their strategy is to try tying Obama to every black man that they don't like and make false accusation about his religious preference. In the gutter mud slinging politics. That's all they have now because there is nothing about McCain's policies for the American people to like.-

If Rove was involved, Barry would be done. He's got so much baggage it's amazing. If the press wasn't just another wing of the DNC, they would report some of his dealings. Ayers and Wright would cause him not to meet the standards for a first year FBI student candidate.

With all his terrorist and muslim friends?
Reply
So, which of his friends has committed a terrorist act in the last 5 years. 10? 20? 30 years??? Can you name a single "friend of Obama" who has committed a terrorist act in the last 30 YEARS?
You're not a racist because you at pizza for breakfast, you're a racist because you lump all muslims in with terrorists, because you try to play on people's fears about the unknown to make them scared of a man you know nothing about.
No muslim is not a race, but guess what? Neither is "black." We are all one race. The HUMAN race. So what does racist mean then? It means lumping together groups of people and branding them with a negative image. -

You know, when you stack so much bull in a comment, it's hard to begin. First, the US doesn't torture prisoners of war. We're fighting terrorists who when defined by the Geneva Convention, fall under the proper category of spies. Military trained, no uniform and not a part of a national military organization. 5th column or guerrilla. No quarter should be offered, none is expected. The problem, Jimmy Carter, signed the PLO protection act, giving rights to terrorists under the UN anti-Israel policies of the last 30 years.

As to the financial problems, perhaps instead of listening to the press you do a little digging. The problems right now have been caused by the deregulations of the banking world, that is true, but they were started in the 1970's. Seems Red Lining was a problem in some neighborhoods so politicians started changing laws based upon race. It didn't matter if you couldn't pay back the loans only that you were able to buy a home. Standards continued to decline until we've hit the spot we're in today. The DNC, Acorn and a number of other organizations should be held accountable. Why do you think Nancy & Harry haven't held hearings and have no intentions to? The DNC is at the heart of this problem.
On the banks, Bank of America, M, US Bank and a number of other institutions are in a buying mood. My company is expanding. Our customer base has expanded and can't find enough qualified people. Most of the problems we're seeing today are caused by the press undermining the economy. What's bad for America is good for Barrack and the DNC.

And his excuse that maybe it wouldn't be like this if Obama had gone to his town hall meeting for debates won't fly. McBush is already honing the "blame excuse" Bush is so famous for - nothing is his fault, it's always someone else's.

"Maybe Palin can learn a lesson from those Hillary supporters. Racist attacks didn't help Hillary win the Democratic nomination; what makes her think racist attacks will help McCain/Palin win the White House?"
Reply
The reason Hillary's attacks didn't work is that most of the voters they we both trying to attract are not racists. While Palin is clearly working to cement the racists in her party and trying to play to the fears of the rest. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm damn tired of republicans questioning the "Americanism" of Obama. The man is clearly a loyal American and is working to set America on the trail it should started on after 9/11. -

I think the spin on her comments is quite humorous. They obviously had no racial aspect to them. When I first read the article posted from Yahoo I had to re-read it because I thought that maybe I missed the racial comment. She said something about Obama's connection with a known terrorist (Ayers) and shes racist? Why wasn't it racist when others brought up that connection?

Republicans sure didn't care about the money funneled into their family. They didn't mind that the Bin Ladens were allowed to fly on 9/11 when no one else was. But now they suddenly find being associated with a terrorist disagreeable.

I thought that Republicans considered palling with terrorist the thing to do. After all they supported Osama bin Laden through the 80's and early 90's and trained him to be the very best he could be. They also supported Saddam in the 80's until he threatened to sell his oil for Euros. Republicans and terrorist are synonymous. It's just that one group does not try to hide it.

Sure glad the Republicans didn't pass McCain's plan to privatize Social Security. It wouldn't look too stable right now if it had passed. Here McCain criticizes Obama about voting for tax increases when he was voting against tax cuts for the rich and he comes out with a plan for a NEW tax on health care benefits on the middle class. Talk about hypocrisy.

The reason he didn't attend Hagee's church, by the way, a reason most GOP/Repugnant Cons like to forget or hide is because prior to running for president he was a well established agnostic or by some accounts an atheist. -

Most of the attacks I see on Catholicism come from the Protestant right. Including Hagee's insanity.
Liberals' attacks are more generalized anti-religion or well thought out criticisms of specific, fringe organizations.-

BigBadJohn666, you just said a mouth full. I know there are a lot of things that are not going well in this country right now, but that is no reason to be blinded by media garbage. For too long the media has charted the course of this country by their propaganda and left wing opions while they are controled by people with the money. How many of you before this election ever heard the name Obama and when did it become against the law to mention a persons middle name. Within 147 days in the Senate he has gained the reputation of being the most liberal person in the Senate and I mean that's where Kennedy serves who had the reputation before Obama arrived. Think about it, 147 days in office and now he is probally because of the media, probably will become your president unless poeple wise up. Is there not something wrong with this picture? This man has ties to just about everyone and everything and for some reason the media and everyone else seems to want to cover for him or just dismiss it as never happened. His first act is to give the UN 800 million for Africa or so he says. The UN, Africa will never see it, it will end up in our enemies hand and these are your tax dollars. Why are none of the allegations brought about him ever checked into? They are all brushed asides as lies, hum, I wonder why? I am Black and I don't trust the man. Anything or anybody that Hollowood gets that close behind, you had better take a good look at it and the Queen of daytime that is backing him is the headleader of a cult so what does tell you. I don't hate anyone I just know right from wrong and I know trouble when I see it. It seems to me we have forgotten a lot of things in this country. While I don't agree with the numbers that BigBadJohn666 uses at the end of his name because they represent a terrible time that is to come such as the world has never known, I do agree with him that it is time we in this country began to think for yourselves. Stop listening to the TV media, news papers and find out information for yourselves because it is available just go online, then make your decision baised on what you think and not what someone has led you to believe.

You are aware, probably, that Barack Obama lost his bearings recently and said that he was going to campaign in all 57 states.

You heard this? And most everybody chalked it up to, 'Well, he's tired.'
You know, this is a Dan Quayle moment. I mean, Dan Quayle goes out there and misspells 'potato,' and we still hear jokes about it.
Barack Obama says he's gonna go out and campaign in 57 states! He was just tired, you know, it's been such a long campaign, he's been so many places, he
probably thinks there are 57 states.
Well, I have here a printout from a web site called the International Humanist and Ethical Union.
And here is how the second paragraph of an article on that website begins.
'Every year from 1999 to 2005 the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states presented a resolution to the United Nations Commission on human rights called commbating.'
Obama said he's going to campaign in 57 states, and it turns out that there are 57 Islamic states.
There are 57 Islamic states!
So did Obama just lose his bearings, or was this a more telling slip, ladies and gentlemen? -
