“We are putting together the [movie] right now as we speak, as a matter of fact. The name of the movie is Venice Beach and basically it’s going to be my 8 Mile, loosely based on [my] life, but not really.”
Apparently he was drinking when he made that statement because it makes no sense whatsoever. I’m curious as to why the film is called Venice Beach seeing as how Ne-Yo is from Arkansas, but hey, whatever floats his boat.
T.I., another chart topper, has also announced his plans to produce and star in a based on his life. T.I. told The AJC he had plans to release a series of books, one of which will be an autobiography which he will later turn into a film.
