Twenty-six years later, at a lunchtime meeting about school reform in a Chicago skyscraper, Barack Obama met Mr. Ayers, by then an education professor. Their paths have crossed sporadically since then, at a coffee Mr. Ayers hosted for Mr. Obama’s first run for office, on the schools project and a charitable board, and in casual encounters as Hyde Park neighbors.

during an interview when a guest compared ayers to Bin Laden the rocket scientist Alan Colmes said that wasn't a fair comparison because "HE didn't kill any body."

this article hints at a more innocent association. to be sure ayers is a radical and obama has known him for years.

Two years ago Bill Ayers spoke at World Education Forum in Caracas, Venezuela hosted by Hugo Chavez. Ayres said "we share the belief that education is the motor force of revolution. I look forward to seeing how all of you continue to overcome the failures of capitalist education as you create something new..." Obama managed the funds in Chicago for Ayers educational reforms and ideology so apparently he shared the same views toward our education system. What were they teaching? Our education system said they would control what was shown as educational movies but allowed Malcom X to be shown to a captive middle school for a Friday afternoon movie.
