Can you explain to me how donations translate to votes? Seeing as how someone can donate as much as they want more money in no way means more votes. Maybe the majority of McCain backers either don't have the money to send, or maybe they just don't want to send the money. Either way your stat offers no reflection on the story posted here.

      No I'm saying the soldiers who sent their money to Obama will vote for Obama, but how does that tell us who the other soldiers support?

  Pure speculation. Soldiers don't make very much money. Many of them qualify for welfare. They are VERY aware of where their money goes.

    But some soldiers have families with plenty of money. So how do we know which soldiers are donating how much to whom?
