  Didn't you read the story?
  FTA "The attacker then fired the gas-powered ball-bearing pistol three times, hitting the civil servant in the face, hand and shoulder."
  It was a GAS fired pistol which is what we here in America call a pellet gun/pistol and the "ball bearings" are what we here in America call BB's. So assuming that the author of the story is correct that man was attacked by a gunman with a pellet gun loaded with BB's. Before you make a joke out of that, some of the high end pellet guns pack a powerful punch and if the shot had hit him in the eye, you might be reading a different story.

    Sad to say I know what a "BB" GUN can do alot of damage and in some places you WILL go to jail the same as w/a gun
