"Most people remain very uncomfortable with Obama and his policies of raising taxes and slashing national defense."

If you mean most people *you know* are very uncomfortable (as opposed to declaring that most people in general know and not substantiating your statement whatsoever) then you should say that. ;-(-

mesodude - You are soo correct even the talking heads make this mistake, they keep saying the American people doesn't know Obama and i wonder if they have been watching the same presidential race as i have. If the people didn't know Obama as they say he would not be in the lead today!

It boggles the mind that they are those who really think they can change the peoples mind once made up.
Look after the GOP convention McCain took the lead, I said if he ever relinquishes that lead the race is over. The people moving to Obama now will not be swayed by some form of smoke screens and mirrors, it will take something spectacular to make them turn from Obama...as much as he has been investigated i doubt that there is any such thing.
I fear when they say we don't know Obama, they really mean there is no way Obama could get this far and be this clean. They in essence are projecting, their candidate has a wood shed full of bad things and all they have he sat on a board with a known terrorist and Rev Wright, these are things beyond Obamas control, to me it shows character that he has not been influence by the wrong doings around him unlike McCain in the K5 savings and loan mess.
