Posted By Wolfie2007 1 year, 1 month ago in NewsAyers had to know Obama at a very close level to mention him in his book along with Muhammad Ali and Louis Farrakhan. The book came out in 1998. It takes about 2-3 years to write and publish a book, so this friendship can be placed going back to at least 1995. The evidence comes straight from William Ayers. Read the page at Google Book

Please do, because Wolfie clearly didn't if he thinks it's in any way incriminating. Here, I'll paste the relevant text for you:

It is time to start labelling these kinds of smears as what they really are - extremist and anti-american-democracy.
Reply
Obama the Subhuman
Increasingly, right-wing conservatives and Republican political leaders are issuing dire warnings to the American public that they – and only they – are the legitimate rulers of the United States and the world. This basic contempt for anything but one-party rule is manifested in a number of dire threats repeated by the party, with its members promising the end of Western civilization as we know it if they lose their dominant status in government. A review of Conservative and Republican contempt for bi-partisan politics is in order....
- On the culture war front, Republicans and conservatives have been unrelenting in their religious fanaticism and racism. Residents of West Virginia and Arkansas have received mailings directly from the Republican National Committee warning that liberals will ban the bible....
- Right-wing pundits, echoed by major conservative political leaders, have warned that a victory for Barack Obama will be a victory for Islam, radical terrorism, and anti-Americanism....
- Conservative legal officials have essentially declared war on the Democratic Party, not for violating the law, but due to their own ideological prejudices. Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was recently exposed for allowing politically motivated prosecutions against prominent Democratic political officials....
None of these right-wing hit jobs or smear tactics should strike voters as merely "more of the same" negative politicking in an election season....
The Democrats' attempt to appeal across party lines has clearly not been the preferred tactic of the Republican Party. Angry over their likely loss of power in the upcoming election, they have become increasingly desperate in their attacks on the Democrats and the legitimacy of the two party state. This is particularly disturbing at a time when it is becoming harder and harder to discern concrete or substantive differences in the economic policies of the two parties. In reality, Obama and Biden's vague references to "regulation" don't amount to a whole lot when they fail to follow them up with actual policy proposals. That these Democrats are demonized by Republicans as sub-human, dangerous, or terrorist is more a sign of the growing extremism of conservatives than of the moral weakness or treachery of the Democrats. The Democratic Party today may be morally bankrupt, spineless, and bland, but none of those are anywhere near as dangerous as the Republican Party's fundamentalist contempt for multi-party elections and bi-partisan politics.

Obama was a Illinois State Senator in 1998 so why did Ayers say in his book Obama was writer. Obama's book wasn't doing well then and saying a State Senator lived in the neighborhood seems so much more prestigious than having and unknown writer in the neighborhood.

Maybe he was a writer in 1995?
Or even before then if Ayers took a long time to write it.
Put on that tin foil hat if you're going to try to party. -

"...why did Ayers say in his book Obama was writer. " Just a guess: Perhaps because he didn't know Obama well enough to know he was a State Legislator?
Reply
That would be the simplest answer.
Of course, here's what REALLY happened: Obama knew he was going to run for president eventually, so he and his best friend Ayers got together secretly to devise a plan to disguise their friendship. They would never be seen in public together, except at board meetings. They would never admit their BFF status and their wives and other friends would take a blood oath never to reveal anything. This they swore at a midnight Muslim ceremony by the light of burning American flags and discarded fetuses (some of them not quite dead). But it was too much for Ayers! He just HAD to mention Obama in his book. At least he remembered to PRETEND he didn't know Obama was a State Senator.

Palin tries to hire terrorist, terrorist supports McCain:

Liddy served four and a half years in prison in connection with his conviction for his role in the Watergate break-in and the break-in at the office of the psychiatrist of Daniel Ellsberg, the military analyst who leaked the Pentagon Papers. Liddy has acknowledged preparing to kill someone during the Ellsberg break-in “if necessary”; plotting to murder journalist Jack Anderson; plotting with a “gangland figure” to murder Howard Hunt to stop him from cooperating with investigators; plotting to firebomb the Brookings Institution; and plotting to kidnap “leftist guerillas” at the 1972 Republican National Convention — a plan he outlined to the Nixon administration using terminology borrowed from the Nazis. (The murder, firebombing, and kidnapping plots were never carried out; the break-ins were.) During the 1990s, Liddy reportedly instructed his radio audience on multiple occasions on how to shoot Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents.
Liddy has donated $5,000 to McCain’s campaigns since 1998, including $1,000 in February 2008. In addition, McCain has appeared on Liddy’s radio show during the presidential campaign, including as recently as May. An online video labeled “John McCain On The G. Gordon Liddy Show 11/8/07? includes a discussion between Liddy and McCain, whom Liddy described as an “old friend.” During the segment, McCain praised Liddy’s “adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great,” said he was “proud” of Liddy, and said that “it’s always a pleasure for me to come on your program.”

Ayers probably wandered into Obama's front hall, took off his jacket and boots, put on his sweater and tennis shoes and started singing "Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood, a wonderful day in the neighborhood, won't you be my neighbor? Oh wait that was Mr. Roger's wasn't it, or was it Obama in Ayers front hall, or was it Eddie Murphy as Mr. Rogers? Yea, I always forget just how well I know my neighbors too. Hope Obama doesn't forget and pick up the red phone if he ever has to order pizza at 3 AM in the D.C. neighbor Hood.

Swiftboating slime repugnicon morons would rather talk about anything but how their neocon base and handlers murdered 5000 american soldiers for a neocon lie.
Rebublicans are showing themselves devoid of any honor, integrety, honesty or courage by admitting they have destroyed the economy, and moving on from there.
Cowards deny and then swiftboating with their lying ad hominem attacks, its obvious and pathetic. Republicowards. -

Baby killer McCain who dropped napalm on villages burning alive children and then calling himself a hero, is a right wing senile cowboy, unfit for command, and read this breaking news:
Reply
McCain served on the advisory board to the U.S. chapter of an international group linked to ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America.
The U.S. Council for World Freedom aided rebels trying to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua. That landed the group in the middle of the Iran-Contra affair and in legal trouble with the Internal Revenue Service, which revoked the charitable organization's tax exemption.
The council created by retired Army Maj. Gen. John Singlaub was the U.S. chapter of the World Anti-Communist League, an international organization linked to former Nazi collaborators and ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America. After setting up the U.S. council, Singlaub served as the international league's chairman.
McCain's tie to Singlaub's council is undergoing renewed scrutiny after his campaign criticized Obama for his link to Ayers, a former radical who engaged in violent acts 40 years ago. Over the weekend, Democratic operative Paul Begala said on ABC's "This Week" that this "guilt by association" tactic could backfire on the McCain campaign by renewing discussion of McCain's service on the board of the U.S. Council for World Freedom, "an ultraconservative right-wing group."
This is what McCain did when he was a SENATOR. Clearly, McCain is devoid of judgement, and is a right wing warmonger. -

alaskareport.com — Sarah Palin thought it was a good idea to hire Liddy to promote drilling in ANWR. Did she know Liddy was convicted of conspiracy, burglary, wiretapping, contempt of court and contempt of Congress; was willing to kill a janitor and a journalist as part of the Watergate break-in; admitted plotting to firebomb the Brookings Institution? Kidnap plans?

"Ayers had to know Obama at a very close level to mention him in his book along with Muhammad Ali and Louis Farrakhan." So Ayers was 'pals' with Ali and Farrakhan and all the other people he mentions as well? Ayers was listing people who lived nearby to show the character of the neighborhood. I don't see where he talks about Obama as a parent at all. -

since Muhammad Ali is also mentioned, does that mean he's a terrorist too?

Well, No Way, it looks the whole neighborhood must be terrorists. Would you call the FBI or CIA. I'll go down there with my binoculars and keep an eye on them. I'll need some help as soon as possible because we also have to worry about all those anti-American members of that church he went to. Better call out the militia. This thing could blow at any moment.

The ultimate stupidity but look at who backs this nonsense! If you can't win on the issues slander is then acceptable? Clearly these men were not close friends or associates. And this Challenge, the Annenberg Challenge was sponsored by the Annenbergs (i.e. Walter Annenberg), one of the leading conservative families in America and supporters of John McCain. So were they hanging out with terrorists? And does this mean John McCain's supporters support terrorists? By the same logic Wolfie and others on this page are using, yes. They can't even see the complete fallability of their argument. The rest of their argument is a matter of semantics which crumbles with even the slightest perusal. But what should we really expect from the Right? Their policies have failed miserably, they have to divert from the issues of the day.
