A house divided: Estranged couple's home cut in half »
Posted By tdrapeau 1 year, 2 months ago in NewsA Cambodian couple from the Prey Veng province who separated after 40 years of marriage may have taken things too literally when it came to splitting their assets: The husband sawed their house in two. This event was unbelievable even for the local news outlets - apparently the husband was unhappy with his wife for not tending to him when he was ill. So the husband arrived at the house with some friends, and sawed (and chiseled) the house in half.
Not only did the couple defy belief and common behavior, they also did not act in accordance with local law. Prak Phin, a lawyer for Legal Support for Child and Women in Prey Veng, acknowledges this: "This was a not a legal divorce. It never went to the court," and "If they have disagreements in the future, they will not have a legal (recourse)."

Why not? We have a house divided in the USA. There are all the

idiots that feel like we can't drill because we may make our non
friends angry. Had we been drilling ten years ago we could have prevented a financial crisis that may be just starting. If the idiots that want to keep the rest of America from drill-ing just go to their own side of the USA house we could fight this financial crisis without having our hands tied. We can be drilling and prove Obama and his terrorists, Syrians and Hate America First crowd wrong. But of course the democrats, the drive by press and those that go from the Ivy league to Washington in order to become plantation owners cant take a chance thar Palin could be right. Just do the math. We could keekp at least 750 billion dollars that we give to America's greatest haters. Ivy would also want to keep that money out of the hands of the ones that work for the benefit America. They are the slave masters of today. They have to hate Palin just because she did not go Ivy. A house divided? Of course. -

Why do you think those who went to Ive League Schools, hate Sarah Palin, because she went to 5 different schools, in 6 years, to earn a Degree in Journalism? John McCain, because of his Grandfather, Father was allowed into the Academy. GWB, because of his Grandfather, father. was allowed into an Ivy League College. To my knowledge, Obama, due to his intelligence and scholatships went to Harvard, became the First Black to become President of The Harvard Law Review. I am not sure about Biden, but both Obama and his wife, Michelle, are college graduates. Oh Todd didn't go to College, that would be Sarah's husband. So I am not sure, who is hating Palin, because of her 6 years of schooling to earn a Degree in Journalism... Most Universities, require 5 years for a Degree in Engineering... I am not sure, why it took Sarah so long to receive her Degree...

Everyone missed it . It doesn't matter about " mans law " where they live . It matters that after 40 years he felt wronged . It took awhile to cut their house in half . Did he stop it = No. He showed the world " Half of it is mine and I'll take my half and do what I want and not be bothered " Now some will say that's selfish and vindictive but it took him 40 years to get there.

This is not something rare and I don't see how it is even a news story. The British actor, Oliver Reed took a chainsaw and sawed his million dollar home in England during a divorce and had the house that was his half torn down.

Why are people acting like it is something unusual. Doesn't anyone ever read the news? i know these unknown Asian people couldn't make such a noise over this as it has already been done. -
