Not really. I've asked for a reason to vote FOR McCain, and all they give me are (mainly specious) reasons to vote AGAINST Obama.

        I don't call that 'support'...

You know, the more they don't talk about policies, the more I think they CAN'T talk about policies, likely because of what Obama has been saying all along: McCain's policies are the exact same as Bush's.

Yeah, but then again he knows the difference between real conservatives and the kooks. LMAO hahahahahahaha

That would be the neocon pretenders who are in fact more Fascist than conservative.

I also agree with him about Obama being a better choice only if he doesn't go to the liberal well of tax and spend, while opening the special interest bribe offering routine.

We need to work our way out of this by stopping the tax breaks to companies who outsource their work and take advantage of the American tax payer. They want to outsource their labor get the hell out of America then and stop using our country for your lazy as* comforts and protective laws.

You want to manufacture stuff in China move to China. Enjoy what happens to you when you fuc* up over there they kill you if you are in charge.

I'm tired of the so called conservatives that don't love America or her working class people. You don't like us get the hell out. We don't need you, we need people who love America and her middle class values of hard work, responsibility, fair pay for a fair days work, and the chance to see ones children educate and better themselves.

Now does that sound wildy liberal to you ????

American companies HAVE moved to China (and to the other of the world's growth markets). They cannot afford to not invest, there. Not only is labor cheap, but the required technical and engineering skills can be had there, too. However, the profits will still come home to Bush's "ownership sociey", those rich or smart enough to invest. If all you have to offer is your labor, you have been devalued, unless you can invent or design products for the new growth markets. It's a natural progression for a wealthy people... let those that are hungry study math and science and work hard. We will be the gentlemen rulers of the earth.

For some reason I think his "pup" will understand. William F. Buckley was a true conservative and even though I didn't agree with him most of the time I respected the man's integrity. And integrity is sorrily lacking in McBush right now.

              Bill Buckley had intellectual honesty!
Except for George Will, is there anyone else left as a true intellectual conservative?

There are a lot of skunks like Limpbag, Ann "the Man" Coulter, Hannity and Billoriley hanging around feasting on roadkills! The days of intellectual Lions are bygone now!

I think if "pup" were alive today, he would do the same. If anything, he was an intellectual, a thinking man, who happened to be conservative. Sadly, as Spadecaller and chuck-the-canuck observe, they don't make their kind, anymore, these days.

I'm not so sure about that. I think Paul was a candidate that WFB could have easily supported. He wasn't what the current republican party wanted because he was conservative and there is nothing conservative about the current republican party.

                      tchef:

How kind of you to call them Republicans. For they are not the Republicans of Teddy Roosevelt or Ike.

They are the Republicans of "Tricky Dick Nixon" and "Ronald the Actor Reagan"
                      not real Republicans.

Greedy self serving neocons who were and are out to take all they can get.

Reagan would have lost to John F. Kennedy or Robert Kennedy. Because these men were more conservative than him in the ways that mattered.

They loved their country and died for it, thanks to the self serving extreme right wing terrorists that had them killed.

George W Bush forged ahead and gave the Republcans all the things they had been grousing about all these years. Now, even they are balking! If their plans could not be discredited as ideas, they have now been discredited in practice. There is no real way to defend their voodoo, neo-liberal, slight-of-hand economic philosophies. Unfortunately, it does not appear Obama will stray too far to the other extreme: he is the conservative in this election.

Did I just hear a clip of McCain saying he was the underdog. That he will rise from the ashes once again after being written off?? Does this sound like a confident man who has no doubt he's going to win?? I think the cons see the writing on the wall too, just look at the increase in the nastiness of their posts.

I have no doubt that Obama will win. But, don’t forget to learn from your own recent history. You must have a plan for after the victory. I don’t just mean political plans, to set the country back on the right track. I mean a plan to deal with the mean spirited, rabid losers.

I shed a tear when they put down “Old Yeller”, but he was a lovable old dog. Sorry, the same can’t be said for the republican party.

True. When the Democrats retook the House and Senate Nancy and Harry "claimed " that they where going to do all these things but without the votes needed to overturn a veto they just look like a do nothing congress.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are just two wet blankets, how did they every get to be our leaders?

You know I was very open to all canidates in this election, except Hillary. When I see the situation we are in the only way to vote is to look at facts. Obama one has little experience. His present votes shows NO leadership or ability to amke a hard decission. His plan to ruduces miliatary spending at a time when Iran is seeking nukes, the North Koreans are starting thier reactors again and Russia is invading its neighbors is obsurb not to mention continuing threats from the Bin laden bunch.

One the finacial situation, Obama being one of the top recievers from Fanny and Co. with fincial support from them with only 2 years in the senate is not the man I want to be going after the banking system. At a time where Americans are barely making it, its not a time to raise taxes.

Let us also not forget although we have Rep. for 8 years in the white house it was a democratic congress who has accomplished nothing, who pushed for these credit risk for people that could not afford these loans for home.

Securing our borders? Obama says we should learn spanish, well I guess that says enough for his stand thier.

Guilty by association- take a good look at the long list of those who Obama has contacts with.

Facts are facts, we need a leader. Obama is a good speaker, but we need more than words. We dont need dreams we need concreate answers to very difficult decission. In an office where you cannot say just present.

Well lets see now, like you said, a republican has been in the White House for 8 years and what do we have..Iran seeking nukes, North Korea starting reactors, and Russia invading people. Democrats have only had a simple majority in congress for the last one and half years of those eight . Guilt by association you said. King Saud, bin Ladens uncle, is known to be financing terrorists. Considering Bush holds hands with King Saud and gives him a buss on the cheek once in a while, coupled with pictures of McCain hugging Bush, using your logic 'Albmore' ,it's obvious McCain likes to pal around with terrorist sympathizers. Keep making these stupid innuendos, the backlash is looking pretty good for Obama.

Tangent is right. You cons can't give any reasons for voting for McCain just reasons not to vote for Obama. Albemore, let's take this step by step.

Leadership ability: Obama created a campaign that, while few gave it a chance at first, beat the Clinton campaign machine and is now giving the Rovian neocon campaign machine a serious trouncing. That, my friend, is leadership.

Military: Obama will pull out of Iraq, where we should have never gone in the first place, freeing up resources to deal with Iran, N. Korea, Russia, and bin Laden. as well as others.

Our financial situation: Obama won't raise my taxes. If he raises yours then you must be very wealthy indeed. We had a republican white house for 8 years, but there was only a Dem congress for the last 2 years....either you didn't know this or neglected to mention it in your post....The other 6 years was a repub White House, Senate, and Congress. They had such a large majority that Dems couldn't even get a bill to the floor. With this "rubber stamp" congress the repubs could have fixed the financial system any way they wanted. In fact that's exactly what they did.

Securing our borders: 7 years after 9/11, I can still walk across the border at Tiajuana without ID but my girlfriend was practically strip searched before boarding the plane to come home.

Guilt by association: He's hung out with Repubs in the Senate, so I guess you got us there.

Facts are facts. Obama is a leader. Now tell me why I should vote for McCain. Besides the fact that he's not Obama.

It's true that Obama doesn't have a lot of experience. But the problem independents like myself have with McCain is that he will continue the policies of Bush. For the last 8 years, things have gotten worse.

No, I don't know what exactly what Obama will do once in office. But at this point in history, I (and many others) am willing to risk going in a different direction.

If you do not know what Obama at least "promises" to do, please do find it out. I for one know and I'm a keen supporter of Obama and so is most of America...
It's completely and utterly clear by now that America needs not another 4 years of McSame, especially that is lying every time he opens his mouth.
Luckily the McCain crew has pretty much ran out on campaign money, there's not enough room to discuss it here, but I have an article about in on my blog...http://theglobalanalyst.com/?p=50

What Obama lacks in experience he more than makes up in his leadership abilities. He inspires people to action. He can look at a problem and see it from both sides. This is what we need now. The last thing we need is more of the same that we have seen for the last 8 years.

Who would have thought that underfunding the major US cities and sending the money to "protect" bowing alleys in Teen. Or opening our boarders to illegal immigration to save on labor costs; or trying to permit arab countries to "over-see" our port protection would yield such wonderful results.

I don't know why everyone is so upset about the advent of socialism in our Government. Under the Bush plan it would seem to be a split where profits are privatized and risk and failure are socialized. Profits under the drug benefit for Medicaid are privatized and the cost is socialized. The war in Iraq, who is profiting and who is paying? At least under a socialist Government all people pay and all people benefit. Would you rather continue under the Bush doctrine or try something a little more equitable for ALL of us?

I think if his dad were alive and got this news, he'd smile, shuffle his scalp, flick his tongue, and, tip over to the side in his chair.
