Posted By pc25 1 year, 1 month ago in Political News

Drew Griffin had better watch out.  If he continues reporting on Barack Obama like this, pretty soon the Obama campaign will target him as an extremist and a hate-monger .  Griffin tells Campbell Brown on CNN how ACORN commits voter fraud, and then explains how Obama is closely tied to the group:

      The Obama/ACORN ties are popping up everywhere

      Obama camp downplays payments to ACORN
      Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama's campaign distanced itself Thursday from its $800,000 payment linked to the liberal ACORN organization, which is under investigation in several states where it is suspected of filing fraudulent voter registrations.

        All this cr*p is NOT "voter fraud" - it is data collected from people who REGISTERED TO VOTE that is questionable. If the data is invalid, they will NEVER GET REGISTERED and thus will NEVER vote!!

        OF COURSE people are going to submit invalid registration cards - the people FILLING OUT THE FORMS are doing that, NOT ACORN themselves.

        There is no evidences of a crime -- it is only a fishing expedition based on complaints from the RNC.

        NOTE this: ACORN authenticates every registration form their workers submit and BY LAW they must turn in every form to election officials, even if they find registrations to be fraudulent or are otherwise suspect or incomplete. They flag ALL questionable registration forms as being suspect before turning them in to officials.

        Thus, it was ACORN themselves who notified officials about the potentially fraudulent and/or incomplete forms in the first place!

        The thanks that ACORN gets for OBEYING THE LAW and notifying officials about questionable registration forms when they turn them in is that the GOP runs to the media shouting, "ACORN is committing voter fraud! They've turned in hundreds and thousands of fraudulent registration forms!"

        this whole thing smells like Karl Rove. right out of his dirty tricks department.

        why would the dems and Obama try to falsely register 2500 fake voters in one small county when there's absolutely no reason to do that? especially since Obama is winning right now, his lead is widening, and he doesn't need to cheat.

        what's the supposed plan of the dems here, to hire 2500 fake voters to vote for Obama? thats a pretty stupid plan since they'd have to enlist 2500 people to pull it off on election day, and then you'd have a HUGE conspiracy on your hands afterwards.

        and if that was the dems plan, why would they execute it so poorly and in such a manner that was sure to get them caught?

        something is very fishy here.

        the cons actually have a better reason to pull this stunt.

        it would be in their best interest to sign up fraudulent voters in an attempt to discredit and nullify all 1.3 million voters who registered through Acorn. plus, by targeting Acorn, it would make Obama look bad by using guilt by association, even though Obama hasn't used Acorn as a resource for the general election.

        and the m.o. at work here is classic Rove. muddy up the waters, make it so you can't tell what really happened, get your constituency to make blind accusations even though logically it would be rather stupid and out of character for Obama to try and pull such a stunt when he's ahead and his lead is getting bigger, not smaller.

        you don't falsely register voters and possibly commit fraud when you're winning. no one is that stupid.

        it just doesn't add up. this whole thing just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

        The Palin stuff petty, bullsheet and politics, all the way. It in no way compares to the strange and weird stuff in your man Barack's background and we're finally learning more about him everyday. Maybe Tony Rezko will tell us more.

        I'm wondering what is going on with PROPELLER. As I leave the post, this article has a rating of 5.3. with stats of:
        ===================
        Read: 203 Propped: 20 Comments: 30.

        When I go to "TOP STORIES" from the link in "What's Hot on Propeller", this story doesn't show up in the 5.3 spot.

        Instead, in the 5.3 spot, this is the article titles that shows up:
        ======================
        "Palin-championed 'aerial hunting' program executed 14 wolf pups"

        It's stats are:
        ===============
        Read: 101 Propped: 31 Comments: 19

        And the article below that is titled:
        ==================================
        "Obama's Rezko-Ayers-Wright Problem"

        And has a rating of 5.1 with stats of:
        ================
        Read: 175 Propped: 24 Comments: 23

        Am I mistaken thinking that this should also be showing in the "TOP STORIES" here on Propeller?

        I know that "TOP STORIES" has other ratings that have multiple articles for the same rating.

        For example, right now there are 10 articles with a 5.0 rating. They are titled:
        ===================================
        "Woman Admits Lacing Cake With Marijuana"
        "McCain's Trying to Clean Up Palin's Mess!"
        "LiveLeak.com - Financial crisis political cartoon montage"
        "Rick Davis Hurts McCain on the Economy Again"
        "Protesting nuns branded terrorists"
        "Talk Radio Hosts: Magic Faked AIDS"
        "Obama ACORN: Democratic Ohio Elections Official Blasts Judge's Order To Purge Fraudulent Voters"
        "Illusion Art by Vitali Zelinski"
        'Homeless Man Dies After Being Set On Fire"
        "105-year-old virgin celebrates birthday"

        What's going on? Anyone know why this doesn't show up there or should I just draw my own conclusions?

        Thanks in advance if anyone can tell me why this isn't showing up in "TOP STORIES".
