Nonsense.

She used her position to achieve revenge in a family fight
; when another official bravely refused to cooperate, she fired him .
Even if her stories about her brother in law were true, there were standard ways of investigating and deciding on the fitness of the man for his job,
- not that it would be the governors job to do it;
doubly so if she had a personal fight with the man.
Your plain, flat, acceptance of her bullying misuse of power, -
is an insult to anyone who takes elected government seriously; and to the state of Alaska, which has the right to expect their elected officials to keep their personal vendetas out of the way of state business.-

I think I see your point .

If you can raise an issue where someone else did something wrong, - then that makes what Palin did ok.
Doesn't work as morality, of course;
and it makes for damned poor government;
but it really sucks as argumentation.
Which is why I want you to keep on doing it .-

I am unsure whether you are calling Palin a political witch; if so, please turn down your rhetoric.

On the other hand, if you are just knee-jerk- rejecting the results of an investigation as 'partisan', - then I will remind you that it was Palin herself who called for the investigation, after it was reported that she fired someone for refusing to fire her brother-in-law.
Maybe we could hire Ken Starr to look into Palin's call to investigate herself;
If she refuses to testify on grounds that it would be self-incriminating she could be shackled which would be wrong very wrong so I am not advocating it one little bit.
Not even a little bit. -
