SWEET, SWEET MUSIC!!!!!Rezko Starting to Sing to Feds »
Posted By pc25 9 months ago in Political NewsAccording to Chicago Sun-Times columnist Michael Sneed , Tony Rezko may be giving the feds a much longer and broader look at Chicago Machine politics than first thought. Her sources tell her that Rezko has started singing about a politically-connected bank, and that may mean more trouble for Illinois state treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, and perhaps BARACK OBAMA as well:

""I think this strikes fear into the Blagojevich administration and the Statehouse Democrats but not into the Obama campaign," says state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Westmont, a John McCain delegate to the GOP convention but an old friend of Obama."

Huh. So an honorable Republican says there's nothing about Obama that could come up, despite his being a McCain supporter.
"But based on the known facts, charges so far and testimony at Rezko's trial, there's no indication there'll be a so-called "October surprise" that could hurt the Democratic presidential nominee — even though Rezko says prosecutors are pressing him for dirt about Obama."
Huh. Sounds like a partisan witch hunt to me.

We just spoke with someone well-connected in Chicago politics who told us that the bank Sneed is talking about has to be Broadway Bank, which is owned by the politically-connected Giannoulias family. We were told that Sneed’s column confirms rumblings people we know heard independently that Tony Rezko is giving up the Giannoulias family to Patrick Fitzgerald — Rezko and the Giannoulias family are as close and tied together as anyone in Chicago could be. If Rezko is turning on them, then Rezko is going to give up Governor Rod Blagojevich and Obama too.-

But look at how one of John McCain's fellow POW's assesses John McCains 'Fitness for Duty'.

pc25, Michael Sneed (who always refers to herself in the third person, the freak) is a GOSSIP columnist. She reports on celebrities in her column, as well as parroting Republican talking points.
Reply
No one takes her seriously.
_____
Check out some of her past "scoops" from her Sun-Times columns:
"Sneed hears former President George Herbert Walker Bush, whose son is tanking in the polls, will be the surprise star of the Republican National Convention in Minnesota."
_____
"It's hush-hush, but Sneed hears Mayor Daley and wife, Maggie, are heading into Russian territory on a vacation next week.
"Translation: Word is Chicago's first couple will be traveling to the Black Sea, which is bordered by the Republic of Georgia -- whose invasion was ordered by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. The Daleys will be accompanied on their week-long trip by one of the city's premier philanthropists, Cindy Pritzker."
_____
Those didn't happen either. (Look 'em up at http://www.suntimes.com)
_____
But as always, Sneed blows her actual information way beyond reality. Rezko IS talking to the feds, and most information points to him going after Gov. Blagojevich--who is decidedly NOT a close ally of Obama (Blagojevich, you'll remember, was snubbed at the Democratic convention). And before you say they're from the same party in the same state, you must admit any state's U.S. senators must work with their states' governors. (Does the name Ted Stevens ring a bell?)
It's likely Rezko has nothing of interest to the feds on Giannoulias, and he definitely has nothing on Obama.
Even your post from "hotair.com" says her assertions are based on speculation that has not been borne out. -

The Propeller libs aren't going to like this. Wonder what they'll have to say. Do you think they'll try "you cons just made this up" again? Or will they just start screaming about Bush? Whatever, it should be fun they are so entertaining especially when they're foaming at the mouth. LMAO

You must mean the headline about Sarah Palin breaking "the public trust" by violating Alaska state law, right? Or will you say that a 3rd hand rumor about Obama from a self-confessed right-wing columnist and McCain supporter (Sneed) speculated about on a right-wing blog is fact and legitimate news, but that a bi-partisan report started by Republicans - who rule the Alaskan investigating committee by a 10-4 margin - before Palin was even within hailing distance of the Republican ticket and covering weeks of professional research and interviewing, supported by 1,000 pages of evidence, is biased character assassination and rumor? That's what I'm betting on, because I have yet to find an intellectually and ethically honest conservative poster on prop. Prove me wrong. I'll make you a deal - you admit that Palin is a liar and abuser of power, and if Obama gets tied up in the Rezco stuff - as part of an official investigation and report that uncovers malfeasance and/or illegalities - I'll help you lead the fight on here to get libs to admit their errors and bring Obama to justice. Willing to make that deal? Is there any con out here willing to make that deal right here, right now?

he'll say Rezko was just someone in the neighborhood.
One messed up neighborhood he lives in, isn't it?
Ayers, Rezko, Wright, all in the same neighborhood.

You'd think there is nothing in Obama's proposals for the Republcans to oppose! "Sure, his proposals are fine, we just don't like the man, and we are hoping we can dredge up some dirt to discredit him."

Glad you brought up the partial birth abortion issue. Not only does Obama support this, he voted against the Born Alive bill to give medical aid when an abortion results in a live baby. There is no defense for this position and indicates to me a person who has a callous disregard for our most onnocent and vulnerable citizens, it is infanticide (what next genocide) and hasn't received any attention. -

For over two weeks now you cons haven't mentioned anything about how your candidate intends to get the country back on track both economically and foreign policy wise. Obama has put out a few proposals that should be debated but what do you losers keep posting....high school gossip. Grow up and start acting like adults if that is even possible.

Give these loser cons a little time. I'm sure they will be happy to dig up some dirt on Biden. That's what their good at. Can't debate policy issues worth a damn, but when it comes to slinging mud, they are pros.
