We just spoke with someone well-connected in Chicago politics who told us that the bank Sneed is talking about has to be Broadway Bank, which is owned by the politically-connected Giannoulias family. We were told that Sneed’s column confirms rumblings people we know heard independently that Tony Rezko is giving up the Giannoulias family to Patrick Fitzgerald — Rezko and the Giannoulias family are as close and tied together as anyone in Chicago could be. If Rezko is turning on them, then Rezko is going to give up Governor Rod Blagojevich and Obama too.-

Why hate obama when we just don't agree with him.
He wants the government to control all aspects of our lives. It is bad enough as it is, we don't need more.

pc25, Michael Sneed (who always refers to herself in the third person, the freak) is a GOSSIP columnist. She reports on celebrities in her column, as well as parroting Republican talking points.

But as always, Sneed blows her actual information way beyond reality. Rezko IS talking to the feds, and most information points to him going after Gov. Blagojevich--who is decidedly NOT a close ally of Obama (Blagojevich, you'll remember, was snubbed at the Democratic convention). And before you say they're from the same party in the same state, you must admit any state's U.S. senators must work with their states' governors. (Does the name Ted Stevens ring a bell?)
It's likely Rezko has nothing of interest to the feds on Giannoulias, and he definitely has nothing on Obama.
Even your post from "hotair.com" says her assertions are based on speculation that has not been borne out.-

The two are associates. You're from Chicago--you know the real story about the house. It's not an issue.

Apart from that, Rezko is an associate like so many others any high-profile political leader will have. Some associates are less savory than others. That doesn't mean Obama is guilty of any kind of wrongdoing.
Every politician who goes anywhere, and not just from Chicago (Sen. Stevens, anyone?), associates with those kinds of people.
If not, they're Pat Quinn--largely ineffectual, well respected by the public but disliked and disregarded by their peers.-

your point being what.........apparently you missed the point that the federal prosecutors, the judge, and the defense attorneys are now involved in the sentencing phase of the trial

Prosecutors move to delay Rezko sentencing
CHICAGO — Federal prosecutors moved Monday to delay indefinitely the sentencing of convicted fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko, sending their strongest hint yet that he is ready to spill his political secrets.
The filing asks for a postponement while prosecutors and defense attorneys "engage in discussions that could affect their sentencing postures."

Let's address how you CON areseholes somehow think that ethics violations can only occur if money is involved. Granted, for you CONs that's usually the case, but we've always known your definition of 'ethics' left a bit to be desired. -
