  The two are associates. You're from Chicago--you know the real story about the house. It's not an issue.
  
  Apart from that, Rezko is an associate like so many others any high-profile political leader will have. Some associates are less savory than others. That doesn't mean Obama is guilty of any kind of wrongdoing.
  
  Every politician who goes anywhere, and not just from Chicago (Sen. Stevens, anyone?), associates with those kinds of people.
  
  If not, they're Pat Quinn--largely ineffectual, well respected by the public but disliked and disregarded by their peers.
