What the article fails to mention is what this is doing to the mid to lower range rentals. In Oregon they are full to being on wait lists. This has driven mid range rentals into a much higher rental market. Studios in some areas that used to rent for $800.00 are now well over $1,000.00. One bedrooms in the burbs are climbing towards the $1,000.00 mark. The population as a whole is shifting. Middle class is becoming lower middle class.
