        pretty stupid, espeically considering...

        - McCain's circle of lobbyist advisers and all of their ties to African dictators.
        - the fact that McCain voted in favor of Apartheid six times in the 80s.

so here's some more names for you:
        - Jonas Savimbi, Angolan "rebel" leader whose insurgency left thousands dead or homeless
        - Zairian dictator Mobuto Sese Seko
        - Nigerian General Ibrahim Babangida, who violently delayed the transition to multiparty democracy in that country),

all of these madmen are connected directly to CHARLIE BLACK, one of McCain's top advisers.

next time, do your homework first.

If this was even remotely real, it would not be only in some liberal hate monger's blog, it would be all over the news.

If you believe this bunk, I have some swamp land in FL to sell you. It's a real good deal too or for a modest fee I can get you a seat on the space shuttle to Mars, or I can sell you the Tower of London, cheap.

and it was a bipartisan group that did it, not some leftys trying to cause trouble.

I don't believe the investigation has anything to do with being "partisan" but in all likelyhood, a personal vendetta as we all know that Palin has ruffled quite a few feathers in her efforts to rid Alaska of corruption, etc. Also, if you (collectively) delve into Alaskan governmental protocol, that the Personnel Board is the one empowered to investigate claims of ethical wrongdoing and Palin and husband Todd have publicly stated that they will be 100% cooperative with the Personnel Board's inquiry later this month.

Also of interest is that the legislative panel that produced the report did so using public funds. If anyone broke the law, it's the panel, not Palin - she broke no laws and was not, and will not be, charged with any crimes.

Her political career is far from over, it's just getting started.

"Also of interest is that the legislative panel that produced the report did so using public funds."

Do you know what a legislative panel is? It is the state-level version of a congressional investigative committee. It is comprised of state legislators. Of course, they use public funds. Duh!

According to this government committee, Sarah Palin broke a statute regarding ethics, an impeachable offense. Their work was finished when they issued this report, which has now gone to the entire state legislature. Now it is up to the legislature whether they want to do anything about it -- ignore, censure or impeach.

The point you missed is that they used public funds to pursue their own personal agenda. Duh is right!!

Also, the legislature has already indicated that no further action will be pursued.

Tune in to the Personnel Board at the end of this month where Palin and husband have already indicated full cooperation. We'll wait for THAT outcome for further comment.

'''The point you missed is that they used public funds to pursue their own personal agenda. Duh is right!!''''

political ethics is NOT a personal agenda. we pay these people-they are our employees. when they misuse their power its a very PUBLIC matter, not a personal one

investigate the case-the governor and her husband had a PERSONAL agenda concerning their PERSONAL lives, and used a PUBLIC office to try to resolve it

the panel that reached the conclusion actually had more republican than dem members on it

that should tell you the findings were not about a personal agenda, but a misuse of public office, if nothing else does

of course if you want to see this as a partisan demonization of Palin, nothing will stop you, even knowing the panel that found her 'guilty' was bipartisan and actually had more people on it from her own party

This is an ethics matter. The state legislature had every responsibility to deal with this. They made their decision based on that responsibility. Whether or not they pursue any further action isn't the point. The point is, she was found to have participated in unethical conduct. Sort of like John McCain was found to have have used "poor judgment" in a Senate ethics review over the Keating scandal.

As for the Personnel Board, you mean the one with her appointees sitting on it? That personnel board? Who cares what they say about it. It will not negate the findings of the committee.

Let's see, this spells the end of Palin's political as Obama's was ended by Wright-gate, Ayers-gate, ACORNgate, etc. and like Bill Clinton's was ended by Paula Jones-gate, travel-gate, Whitewater-gate, Monica Lewinsky-gate, etc.

If by end you mean he will be the next President of the United States, then fine. Do you even know what ACORN is? It is a non story in terms of it affecting Sen. Obama...if any fraud is found is found it is isolated and I hardly think sen Obama need s to support a fraud to register 2000 people in Indiana...when the Democratic party has brought in millions of new voters this year, legal ones. I find it laughable to hear republicans lecturing democrats on voter fraud...I don't even need to insert a metaphor here, the statement speaks for itself, Republicans lecturing Democrats on voter fraud...lol. Anyone seen the flyers in Philly that tell people not to vote if they have parking tickets or have ever been arrested? And what's Ayers gate...a washed up 60s radical, who barack Obama barely knows, they sat on 2 boards together, he is a prof. of English at the University of Illinios, he is paid by our Gov't. Never charged with a crime...and the Weather Underground was funded by a prominent McCain supporter, look it up! http://www.newsweek.com/id/163396
McCain says in an Internet ad that the two "ran a radical 'education' foundation" in Chicago. But the supposedly "radical" group was supported by a Republican governor and included on its board prominent local civic leaders, including one former Nixon administration official who has given $1,500 to McCain's campaign this year. Education Week says the group's work "reflected mainstream thinking" among school reformers. The group was the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, started by a $49 million grant from the Annenberg Foundation, which was established by the publisher Walter Annenberg, a prominent Republican whose widow, Leonore, is a contributor to the McCain campaign.

McCain may be a danger to America? ...maybe so.

Palin? You know I could say an awful lot of bad things here, but I will go for the simple answer.

Palin is unquestionably dangerous to Freedom and the Rule of Law.

Her incompetence alone would sink us.

Imagine four years of leadership worse than that of Bush.

(and yes, that really is the short answer)

Obama has direct ties with prosecutable voter fraud, cavorts with a person responsible for bombing American buildings, has called Che Guevara one of his "heros", is publicly endorsed by the New Black Panther Party, the Nation of Islam, the entire Fidel Castro family, the American Communist Party, etc., but the media concentrates on how Sarah Palin may have had a State Trooper fired. Wow.

does Obama have direct ties to prosecutable voter fraud? do you have any proof that obama's camp singed up all these people? or are you simply talking outta yer arse?

it ain't voter fraud until someone tries to actually go and vote under a false name. until, then, its nothing.

wake up. this is karl rove's doing, and he's setting up a situation on election day where the GOP can start lawwsuits everywhere in a sad, feeble, very unAmerican attempt to retain control.

                          meanwhile...
you have a bipartisan panel telling you right to your face that sarah palin is dangerous.

                          ABUSE OF POWER

the last three words any real American wants to hear right now, especially after the last 8 years of Bush, Cheney, Gonzo, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, etc etc etc.

the GOP is the party of abuse of power.

and in three weeks we will show them who really has the power.

I read the entire report. It took me 2 hours and 37min. I couldn't help but feel like what a stupid mistake to make as Governor. I cant say I would do any different if it was my sister involved. But still dumb! Then I remember Obama's remark when it was discovered his convicted felon, friend had purchased the property Obama wanted next to his house. So the felon friend sold it to Obama for less than he paid. Another stupid mistake! Obama said this was stupid and too close to the line. I will never get close to that line again he said. Stupid, yes on both of their parts but the end of their political careers? I doubt it. Maybe it should be McCain/Biden.
