(FTA) There are indeed so few people of color at McCain events that a black senior writer from The Tallahassee Democrat was mistakenly ejected by the Secret Service from a campaign rally in Panama City in August, even though he was standing with other reporters and showed his credentials. His only apparent infraction was to look glaringly out of place.

That is one scary op-ed, ameliog. I hadn't been thinking about it in quite that way, but it makes a good point. Look at the way many on the right, here on propeller are posting every rumor and association, no matter how ludicrous, as if it were fact. I hope that most of them don't understand what it is they are doing, but I fear some do.
