Chicago dive bar scores hit with nude Sarah Palin portrait »

Now she’s the subject of a nude portrait, unveiled Thursday and drawing crowds to the Old Town Ale House on Chicago’s North Side.
The four-foot-tall oil painting depicts the current governor of Alaska standing atop a polar bear-skin rug in her living room, nude, except for a pair of red stiletto heels and her trademark eyeglasses. In the picture she leans on an automatic rifle while beaming a megawatt smile. Behind her, a window looks out onto a pristine Alaska landscape, complete with a moose that has just ambled into the frame.
The portrait fits right in at the ale house, a dark and famously dingy bar frequented by Second City performers and crew, whose walls are adorned with more than 200 paintings of bar regulars and well-known Chicagoans, often engaged in various sexual acts. The Palin portrait has quickly become the bar’s star attraction, drawing a steady stream of picture-snapping admirers. According to the hand behind this and the rest of the paintings, former golf hustler and bar co-owner Bruce Elliott, his latest piece is even pulling in regulars from rival establishments. I want to congratulate the Artist's subject material along with his (not so hidden messages) in the photo. But...Pulease do not do a nude caricature of the extended family of our White House Bushes, maybe Jenna and her sister but not the others.

haven't seen it yet- sounds like hippokun liked it "just fine" though. gonna have to check it out- might want to vote for her yet! anybody else gonna vote for her- kinda curious. Damn- if we just had a decent candidate for president-- know what I mean?

The reason as to why they chose Palin to paint nude while other former presidents and presidential candidates have been passed up is because the fact is, if they painted any of those people the viewers would be forced into ungodly acts such as alcohol comsumption, drug addiction and suicide to block out the images. ;P

Palin shows great intelligence in understanding that this world is ruled by Satan and his demons. She is a Christian and those are the people who are targets for all kinds of deviltry. Up till now, how many nude "pictures" of any presidential ticket nominee has anyone ever seen? I think that it is a sad commentary on society when a woman who is a devoted mother of 5, a faithful wife and a leader of state is reduced to a b**ch in heals. I pray that my daughter is treated fairly for living her life with honor. I believe that Gov. Palin may be too inexperienced to serve as VP, so I am not speaking from prejudice. However, I am a woman.
