4. Frank Marshall Davis: another of Obama's mentors mentioned in his book, a well-known Stalinist Communist whose devotion to the Soviet Union and hatred for an America which he described as racist and imperialistic put him under FBI surveillance for at least 19 years. It is quite possible that Davis did more to shape Obama’s world view than many in his entourage.

    It's the proverbial double edged sword, 2 headed snake.
    Race is driving this election no doubt. Black and white. To be hammered for being racist for white racial attacks on Obama while ignoring the pressure put on blacks to vote black is not telling the whole story.

    If that is true, how did Obama ever win the Democratic primary?
    According to the 2000 census 12.3% of the US population is African American - certainly not enough to boost him to the top in the primary

    Only in the mind of liberals like you. I do not like what Obama stands for and what he has done over the years. There is nothing there that is racist except I do not like the racist anti American church he attended. In this case it is his racism and that of liberals who say that being against Obama is racist.
