    FTA
Both Sen. Obama and Mr. Ayers spoke at a testimonial dinner for Rashid Khalidi, a former member of the Palestine Liberation Organization and a founder of the rabidly anti-Israel Arab American Action Network, when Mr. Khalidi left the University of Chicago for Columbia University. Sen. Obama lectured part time at the University of Chicago law school from 1993 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004.

HOLY COW: It turns out that terrorist Ayers actually ghost-wrote Obama's first "memoir". No wonder Obama has trouble remembering what was in it.

I don't know about your hyperbole ... but I just propped this article ... I'm hoping it makes it to the Front Page so all Propeller Viewers can see for themselves the crazies who support John McCain.

        I'm rooting for y'all.

Obama states in his book, The Audacity of Hope, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." He has had questionable friendships throughout his life even in college. What do we know about his college, Pakistan roommates? His associations all appear radical even with this Acorn group whose actions are questioned by protesting and intimidating bankers and their families to make them give out loans to people who coudn't afford them. Then Obama takes in Frank Raines as an advisor, who took $90 million dollars from Fannie Mae while working only 6 years there. And now we have to deal with all the voting registration fraud. This is just like his Socialist cousin Raila Odingo in Kenya who caused so much distress while running for president and lost., leaving the country in turmoil last Dec. 07. Is Raila in the country to help with registration??

Since you conservatives hate Muslims so much could you please teel me why so many ultra-conservative (formerly American based) corporations are moving their main offices to Dubai and other Muslim countries?

Also, if the goal of the Iraq "war" was to bring them Democracy why are you so anti-Muslim as to constantly let them know you feel they are not welcome?

I'm still trying to figure out how cons think we can win a so called war on terrorism if we behave as if all Muslims are terrorists. That doesn't seem like a very realistic approach to convincing people our way of life is worth emulating but maybe that's just me. ;-(

Research what and who you vote for, check your resources, do not buy into the hype, think and reason for yourself. This is supposed to be an election for president not PR rock star. You are hiring the CEO of Firm USA. Who do you want to run the firm, a manager with over 25 years experience or the newly hired stockboy, with questionable judgement? If you complain about Palin's experience to be VP candidate where does that leave Obama? She has more real experience than he has. Or is Obama really running as Biden's VP? Birds of a feather flock together. With friends like his, why would the USA need any enemies?

I think McCain is dangerously unstable and unfit to lead. I didn't trust George W Bush to lead our country effectively and he didn't prove me wrong even once.

Age and experience unfortunately can't be give to the young, but you can try to educate them to avoid the mistakes of the past. Whether they learn or not is up to them. Experience is the best teacher, but it charges a hell of a price. If your 20 and not a Liberal, You have no Heart. If you are 40 and not a Conservative, You have no Brain--Sir Winston Churchhill

This is just more Palinopsia. It's a real medical disorder. Look it up.

You see "facts" drawn from a well established liar, Andy Martin, and end up thinking lies are facts because they keep dancing before your eyes. Obama wrote both his books with his own hand. His connection with Mr. Ayers is tenuous at best. Ayers is not a terrorist. He did some terrible things 40 years ago when Obama was a child, but has redeemed himself and is a prominent member of his community today.

That's more than can be said for the rabid right and their push for a new racist, fascist state in America.

Right and given the chance by technicality and a rich father to pave his way Timothy McViegh may have redeemed himself and become a prominent member of his community today. Maybe we should have just overlooked his actions as well?

Timothy McVeigh deliberately killed 173 innocent people. The Weather Underground set off a few bombs intended to do nothing but property damage. The only people who ever were injured or killed by their activities were 3 of their own members when a device they were building went off in their hands.

I'm certainly not excusing what Ayers did. But to equate the two shows your depth of blind hatred.

That's BS and you know it! I just read the article you are referring to. It, like all of this krap is insinuation. No actual evidence of impropriety just your sleazy little imaginations running wild. Do you really think Obama sympathizes with terrorists? That he is running for this office to give away America? If he did his damndest he still couldn't compete with the damage done by the Bush administration.

You would have attacked Hillary in the same way if she was the nominee. Just absolutely disgusted with the behavior of my fellow Americans. You don't realize the damage you are doing to this country. Nor apparently realize the damage those you previously brought to power have done. We will all go down on the same sinking ship.

Of course it is, but what worries most is that McC is going to be another 4 years like the last 8.

Ahhh ... the Wolfie / redtomato tag team.

What's happened to Nixie, redtomato? Has she lost interest in joining you in fomenting your typical propaganda?

I hope not ... I like when Nixie posts ... she does a lot to show the depths of Moral Decay among the Right Wing.

Of course ... please don't think I'm selling Wolfie and you, redtomato (aka luvmyprez & AlphaGnosis) short.

Fact is ... I look for your posts because they do such a good job of displaying for all to see .... exactly how Morally Depraved your position is.

Hey ... there's a story that our friend Beau7890 posted elsewhere on Propeller. I hope you check it out.

                            http://www.propeller.com/story/2008/10/13/the-man-...

It goes into fine detail about the profile of Andy Martin ... apparently, he's one of the inspirations for much of the garbage that you and the other 'Government Hating' Right Wingers get your material from.

                            FTA.
"Andy Martin is a law school graduate, but his admission to the Illinois bar was blocked in the 1970s after a psychiatric finding of 'moderately severe character defect manifested by well-documented ideation with a paranoid flavor and a grandiose character.' "

So ... blast away with your Lies, Cheats, Dis-Information, and blatant Propaganda ... but just remember ... ultimately the source is from loony paranoiacs.

And please ... keep posting your regular garbage.

America saw this with the whole 'Swift-Boat' thing.

We've been through 8 of some of the worst years in American History.

George W. Bush has the lowest recored approvals.

George W. Bush the president you have unwaveringly supported from your first day on Netscape ... initially as luvmyprez ... then as AlphaGnosis ... and now ... well .... now you don't bring up his name any longer ... has the lowest recorded approvals.

Americans have awoken to this type of garbage.

'Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.'

I realize that Wolfie, redtomato, Nixie, Klarissa ... y'all don't have a very high opinion of American intelligence ... and God knows ... when Bush was given a second term ... I had my doubts ... but ... I'm hopeful that Americans have finally realized that the Neo-Con ideology that you support ... is contrary to traditional American Values.

                            So ... keep posting, y'all!

Hey wolfie, you've posted the same garbage on here twice this week already. The ayers association has been debunked yet you keep trying to cram the same lies down our throat. We've all hear about Wright. All of this has been brought out by the Clinton Campaign. There is nothing new here. Nothing spectacular or a scandal. You cons are sure narrow minded.

Putting together a coherent, intelligent and accurate post is somehow a show of 'ignorance'?

                                  Right!

Parroting garbage about 'Muslim religions', 'terrorist associates', 'campaign plane odors' and 'birth certificates' is the height of intelligent discourse!

What Americans want to know now, during this time of economic peril, can be found in the tabloid submissions paraded about by the frightened bigots right here on our own propeller.

Good luck with that, cor, pc & woofie.

What'll you be posting on 11/5?

More obstructionist nonsense to further disparriage the country's leader, President Obama in an effort to prevent the betterment of our great land?

Why do you hate America so much?

Judging from the posts on here it would seem that intelligent discourse is something lost on the right.

All we have to do is look back at how the republicans have run their campaigns. Keep the minds of the voters off of the important issues and assasinate the character of the other candidate. Which why we have what we have here, Which is the way they want it.

The USA's enemies are drooling at the thought of Obama. They love the naïve inexperience weak amateur. Where there have been young leaders in the past, they had over a decade of (real)experience, yet we paid a price for it. The last thing the USA needs at this time is an Amateur. There is no time for on the job training. More Socialist debt is definitely not what we need. Research what and who you vote for, check your resources, do not buy into the hype, think and reason for yourself. Being what one "guppy" called an old f*rt, I have already survived this type situation, and really shiver at the thought of having to go through it again. Therefore the inexperience definitely concerns me. The Socialist leaning is a big red flag. His record shows nothing to recommend him.His choice of associates is a fair indicator of where his preferences lie. Pretty words and rhetoric may soothe the soul but do nothing to solve problems. You know dude I’m sick and tired of stupid and hateful people like you! Tell me you shadow of McCain’s brain: who has experience?
If you would say to your buddy bomb, bomb, bomb Iran or send all the cigarettes to Iran so they all can die it’s fine it’s just saying how incredibly stupid you are. But when an old fart claiming that he wants to be our next president saying such things – it’s dangerous!
When guy, who want to be our next president saying: We all Georgians now. What that means to the Russians? That just reinforce their claim that USA was behind the attack on South Ossetia!
In the same speech the same genius said that in the 21-st century countries don’t invade other countries! Really! What about USA invaded Iraq and Afghanistan? Maybe it was in 20-th century?
So, tell me you Palin’s wink who has experience here?

                                          its a dangerous world.

dropping a rookie into the role as the free world's leader makes it even more dangerous.

the US had a UN mandate for iraq and afghanistan. Russia did not have any reason to invade Georgia, other than they could.

                                          experience? McCain. by far....

As a member of the free world, I am more scared of another shrub like leader than Obama.
shrub has been the biggest upheaval this planet has seen since WW!!.
                                            And you want more.
Do not even try to think for the free world as you are so far behind you think you are in first place.

                                              biggest upheaval? are you kidding?

i'd say the collapse of the old USSR or the growth of China India, Brazil, the Tigers, dwarf anything that we've done.

you seem to neglect 9/11 as having any importance.

do you think that if the WTC was still standing any of this would have happened?

blaming Bush is the simpleton's choice, but if that's enough to get the dems elected, who cares how hypocritical it is. victory over substance.

As I have said before Racism knows no color. There are White racist,Black racist,Brown racist, ECT. To some it is a hatred, to some it is distrust, and to others it is a tool of deceit. His record shows nothing to recommend him. Pretty words and rhetoric may soothe the soul but do nothing to solve problems. But I've heard them before, straight out of the Communist Handbook.

All the cons on here were predicting attacks, etc after the dems took control of congress. None of which happened. Why the difference now? Keep cowering in fear in your closet while rational, openminded people fix the mess that your party created.

much of what Obama says he wants to do is almost a repeat of Johnson's great society.

Now, some people think that was a good thing, but many other analysts believe that Johnson's "great society" policies were directly responsible for the breakdown of the African-American family, the increase in the rate of poverty, especially in families where poverty spans generations, the exponential increase in the rate of out-of-wedlock births which indirectly led to the gang culture.

one of the other things Obama would like to do is redistribute income "more fairly". He says he will do this by raising taxes on the "rich"people and giving "rebates" to those who are in too low an income bracket to pay income tax. First, if you didn't pay it in the first place, it's not a rebate, it's a handout. 2nd, how do you know that that guy that you deem to have made too much money didn't work 80 or 100 weeks busting his butt to make that? How do you know that he didn't employ several other people? Cries of "make it more fair" that are really saying "soak the rich" don't make things more fair, they just make our society even more divided.

There are other remedies. I am not sure that McCain's are the right ones, either.

You're right, amazed... that CEO may have worked 2X as hard for his 300+ X as high wage... we should give him a break!

I think capping CEO salaries at 50 times the wage of the lowest-paid worker would be fair. You pay your workers a decent 20$ per hour, you can STILL earn $2MILLION per year, which should be PLENTY for anyone to live on. If you want more, and the company makes sufficient profits, pay your base-level employees more, and give yourself 50X the pay raise!

That's not altogether a bad idea... it would ensure that the best and brightest are encouraged to look to government as an option instead of private enterprise.

But the flip-side is it might put pressure on government to raise the President's salary instead of lowering those of other CEOs. It also prevents companies from raising the salaries of the CEOs. Putting a limit which is in relation to the company's lowest-paid worker makes it easy to raise the CEO salary in good times, by paying the backbone of the organization what they deserve. It would provide a direct incentive to management to pay the lower rungs adequately, because their own salaries would be directly dependant on it.

I have no problem with a reasonable cap on CEO's salaries. Frankly, I cannot believe that there haven't been stockholder revolts. Like, what are these boards of directors thinking?

But $250K is NOT 300 times more than an average worker, and in some parts of the country, makes you comfortable, but not really rich. In addition, while a company that is formed as as C corporation, will pay corporate tax and the the owner/CEO will generally only pay income tax on his/her actual income, many small businesses are formed as S corporations or LLC's. In this case, any profit the company makes is taxed as personal income to the partners, regardless of whether they received it, it was ploughed back into the company or, as is often the case, simply a book profit. That will, indeed, put MANY small business owners (even quite a few who are struggling to keep their employees employed and their heads above water) above this $250 K mark.

Or they could re-incorporate their businesses to get the most advantageous tax strategy for themselves, which they probably do already.

No, 250K is not 300 times more, but I can pretty much guarantee that there are those pulling a whopping 30K that work JUST as hard as the guy who gets 250K.

The issue is fairness, and people are constantly clamoring about the value of hard work to make a good living, but there are some that put in that hard work, and struggle daily because they are not paid fairly for it. Either they aren't good at asking for raises, or the opportunities aren't there, or they really enjoy what they do, see value in it, and aren't driven purely by the almighty dollar.

Oftentimes, people take advantage of a generous nature.

But I think the question I asked was regarding you cons' track record of mind-numbingly poor judgement over the last 8 years, amazed. Why are you somehow convinced your words and opinions are now credible or compelling after the horrific damage, death, destruction, and financial ruin caused by your lack of judgement? Try to focus...I'm not asking you about Obama, or Johnson, or Carter, or Bill Clinton or even about John McCain, really. My question is about cons' decision making. What have you learned from backing a colossal failure of a President in George W Bush (you voted for him TWICE. wow. I would have shredded my voter registration by now) and the extremely corrupt and criminal GOP which was kicked out of power in '06 that gives you the confidence that you now have sound critical thinking and decision making skills? Thanks.

That is so far from the truth that it's ridiculous. if it WERE true, Bush's numbers would be approaching 50% as are McCain's (who, by the way, I'm not particularly fond of anyway).

Wolfie, in your little tiff-rant above, you point out the Univ. of Chicago as if it's a significant link between Obama and Khalidi.

But if the Univ. of Chicago is (in)famous for anything these days, it's because that is the place where trickle-down economics, the failed theory both Bush and McCain espouse, was born, championed by Milton Friedman and future noecons like Paul Wolfovitz.
