Sarah Palin is the Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard. She is briefed and has a higher security clearence then Obama or McCain.

You're worried about the wrong person... Obama has one foot in the door and that's too damn close for me.

She is the commander in chief when they are needed for crowd control in Alaska but when it comes to overseas deployment she's lucky if she gets a memo from the Pentagon.

Coymoy is 100% correct when saying we should be worried about the Socialist who has "one foot in the door" right now!! Obama is a dangerous far left radical who will finish ruining us economically (the Dems kept a bill from going to the Senate that would have provided for more oversight and rules to govern Fannie and Freddie, but want to blame it all on Republicans, of course. He may also undermine the support of the USA for Israel, which is our only true ally in that part of the world, and which Iran would love to nuke at the first opportunity. Obama's tax plans will further weaken our economy, as his main theme is actually one of a welfare state which would give to those who contribute nothing to our society. He wants to encourage illegal immigrants by giving them drivers' licenses. And his friends in ACORN are helping to elect him with fraudulent registrations for voters.

          Sometimes I wonder...

Let me just beg the neo-con fear based crowd to really think for a moment beyond their fear mongering...

Why would Iran, a Muslim country, bomb Israel...particularly Jerusalem? Oh, sure there are certain dislikes with the GOVERNMENT in Israel, but do remember that one of Islam's holiest sites is there. Destroying that would be very much against the whole religion of Islam...which renders that whole bit of rhetoric, when actually looked at, idiotic.

In other words, were Iran to nuke Israel, Iran would in turn, for destroying one of Islam's holiest mosques, be aggressively shunned (at best) or destroyed (more likely) by every other Muslim nation in the region. It is the political policies and the Government of Israel which has their ire up and destroying the region would be idiotic...also since the prevailing winds would blow the resultant radioactive fallout right back over Iran.

Please, think before you open your mouth (or touch your keyboard)

Boy have you swallowed the whole fear campaign -- hook line and sinker. Try reading real news sources instead of right wing web sites. Obama has not acted like a far left radical in either of his elected positions. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac held only 20% of sub prime mortgages and no responsible economist holds them solely responsible for the meltdown. The Democrats bill to increase control on Fannie/Freddie was defeated in committee by the Republican Majority. Both parties are culpable. Obama is a huge supporter of Israel and has had the support of the Chicago Jewish community since day one. How will Obama's tax plan weaken our economy? It raises taxes on only the highest earners. John McCain's policies on immigration are as liberal as Obama's. Read them. ACORN workers get paid for registering voters. Some abused the process by turning in phony registrations. But the system weeds out false registrations and they don't help either candidate. Both parties use paid registration workers and Obama is not supporting ACORN's general election registration campaign. Vote for McCain is you like him. That's your right. But stop spreading the lies.

Yes, but I think we're all experiencing the horror and disgrace resulting from cons' poor judgement and lack of education over the last 8 years so thanks for your input, but no thanks. ;-(
