Why not set a flat tax for all sources of income, wages, capital gains, interest & dividend income. No deductions or exclusions with the taxes paid on all income period. That way everyone pays the same % of their income. If I make $50,000 I pay I pay $3,000, if I make $100,000 I pay $6,000 and so on. That is fair for everyone and I'm not a socialist redistributing wealth. The tax code is a joke where the wealthy can hide income or get a substantial break because of the source of income. How many of the middle class truly benefit from the special treatment of capital gains? Trickle down economics is little more than giving to the wealthy in hopes some of the crumbs will benefit those less fortunate. Why not provide the lower to middle class tax payers a break and with the extra money they have they can provide an opportunity for new businesses to open to help them spend their increased discretionary income.

90% of the wealth in this country, lies within the hands of the top 1% of this country, That means 10% is distributed between the remaining 99% of the population. Stated simply, Appox 3,000,000 people own 90% of the wealth. Which means the remaining 10% of the countyies wealth is distrubuted among Appox 297,000,000 people. I guess you fools complaining about Obama, obviously wanting to protect the masters wealth, see nothing wrong with those facts. But I understand, hate blinds us all.
