So if a american born muslem wanted to run for president he could not because of his religion it does not matter all this is doing is ramping up racism against muslem americans but obama is not but even if he was should not make any differants at all

it just goes to show that more lip service than true service is paid to the tolerance we as a nation presume to possess. the worst kind of racism is the kind that pretends it isn't. the same goes for bigotry. it's cowardice that offers nothing to fight against, only something to step into

In light of recent history I think it would raise understandable questions and people would show some quite understandable apprehension. If you cant see that and see why I sure don't have the time it would take to explain it to you.

Well, the rumor that torpedoed his campaign back in 2000 would not have happened. Or at least in the way that it happened. But with the dismal record that the Republican party has had with black outreach he would most likely have not even run in 2000.

If he were a Muslim, I'd hope that he was the type that only knew "to you, your religion, to me mine" to NOT be abrogated by Quran 9:1-6 and Quran 9:29. I don't think he's a Muslim. I think he's an atheist who tells whatever religious group he's with that he believes like them.
