"The reception for former Clinton supporters, which also was attended by Rick Davis, the McCain campaign manager, was spearheaded by Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a former telecommunications entrepreneur and “Hillraiser” who brought in more than $100,000 for Mrs. Clinton’s campaign; Calvin Fayard, also a former Hillraiser and longtime Democratic donor from Louisiana, and Miguel Lausell, a former senior political adviser to the Clinton campaign from Puerto Rico.
Reply
Other prominent former Clinton supporters in attendance included John Coale, a former Hillraiser, Washington lawyer and husband of Fox News television host Greta Van Susteren.
Everyone at the reception contributed $28,500 to McCain-Palin Victory 2008, a joint fund-raising committee for the Republican."

"Former Ambassador under President Clinton, Mark Erwin, wrote today that he is endorsing John McCain for President.
Sen. Obama does not yet have sufficient leadership experience. He has never led so much as a Boy Scout troop. I am not comfortable thinking of him as the leader of the greatest nation on earth as his first real executive job. In 2007, his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, said, “I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.”

The last thing the USA needs at this time is an Amateur. There is no time for on the job training. More Socialist debt is definitely not what we need. Research what and who you vote for, check your resources, do not buy into the hype, think and reason for yourself. Being what one "guppy" called an old f*rt, I have already survived this type situation(Carteryears), and really shiver at the thought of having to go through it again. Therefore the inexperience definitely concerns me. The Socialist leaning is a big red flag. His record shows nothing to recommend him. Pretty words and rhetoric may soothe the soul but do nothing to solve problems.

NOW did come down hard on those who perpetrate sexist remarks against her. However, one of their top issues is abortion rights, and so they strongly oppose her wish to criminalize it even further.

Clinton was their candidate, and then they threw their support behind Obama because of his position on the issues. It's a no-brainer, really.

At least if they were Hillary supporters, they didn't waste their contributions enriching the Biden family:
Democratic vice-presidential candidate Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. has paid more than $2 million in campaign cash to his family members, their businesses and employers over the years, a practice that watchdogs criticize as rife with potential conflicts of interest.

Being the principled people they are I'm sure they refused to accept money from supporters of a politician they loath. Seeing as how these true patriots live by the code of guilt by association they would not want to be connected in anyway with the God awful Clintons.

Obama's smirkish facial contortions made him appear elitist. The sincereity of John McCain was moving, while the naivete of Obama was exposed as he stammered searching for a rehearsed line whenever McCain addressed his flawed policy proposals. I felt a little sad for the country as I viewed the inexperienced pup attempt to challenge the best of show.

McCain was arrogant and rude, VERY RUDE and VERY disrespectful. He appeared beaten and pathetic with the rolling eyes and interuptions. Obama directly answered any and every attempt by McCain to draw him from his game....didn't happen. Obama was calm, cool, and collected, as he always is. This is a man who actually THINKS, before he speaks, chooses his words wisely and appropriately, something this country as been greatly missing, He was neither rude or impatient towards McCain. A pure pleaseure to see him at work. How sad for McCain that he thought acting llike a selfish child would further his cause. I beleive the opposite will continue to occur, I think people are realizing what a problem McCain would be in the whitehouse. I beleive we watched McCain throw a hissy fit on national television. Priceless.. Wake up, stand up, vote Obama 08

You went to a hitler youth rally, where the question was, do we kill all muslims, or just all black muslims. This is what republicans consider bipartisan.

Where do you morons come from. Does Alabama have some moron factory, like the matrix hatching fields, producing repuiblican liars and shills?
They certianly have a home here on propeller. AOL time warner, the right wing media empire, gaming the system promoting this crap to the top story.
Why even have the PROP bs. Its like having a thremostat in your office that isn't connected to anything, just there so the republican liars can say the participants have some say.

Clinton has appeared 40 times since the end of the primaries for Barack. 40 times, the most in the history of campaining. 40 times she's endorced Barack, and pleaded for her supporters to support the more intelligent (non-senile) candidate.

This story is a lie, the moderators on this website promote sleaze and lies, and game the system so every day this propanda appears as the top storys.
Always the same people, Nixie, Slate, Red Tomato. And the moderators do nothing, or are complicit in gaming the system. AOL Time warner, the right wing media who promotes this sleaze and media bias, should do something, but its like Faux Noise, its a propanda arm of the right wing facists, just like the Justice Department.

Sarah Palin requisitioned quite a bit of money for Alaska's aerial shooting of wolves program. According to the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, she is an enemy to animals there. Palin also led the way this past legislative session on measures to increase hunting in Alaska including by destroying in as cruel a way as possible wolves, wolverines and brown bears. She's a hypocrite!! Palin says she's pro-life but then contradicts herself by supporting and taking part in the killing of our animals and wildlife. Sarah Palin your a damned hypocrite!! You got a fight coming Palin!!!! She offered a bounty of $150 for each left front leg of freshly killed wolves. As mayor of Wasilla, she made rape victims pay for their own forensic evidence kits. She used $400,000 of state money to fund a propaganda campaign in support of aerial hunting. She is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species because it might limit oil exploitation. While mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire the city librarian because the librarian refused to censor books. She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power. She is opposed to listing the Cook Inlet beluga whale as an endangered species. She has no international experience and only obtained her first passport just last year (2007). Click on link to see just how coldhearted Sara Palin really is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T85cOGc8L0

Caribu Barbie Palin shoots moose from her pink Hum Vee with a 30 06 rifle from 20 yards, wearing her pink raincoat over her pink bikini, and then has her Ken doll slice off the Bulls testicles so she can eat them raw, an act which she considers "field dressing".
Reply
The fact she can do this for breakfast with out mussing her hair or lipstick, and still make the book/ witch burning at the creationist evangelical mega church, well she's just a super hero.
Lets all just give Caribu Barbie the bomb. She wants the end times like a pit bull would rip the testicles off a bull moose. Bring on the rapture, lets burn our children in an atomic hell fire, Vote McSenile!
