"The reception for former Clinton supporters, which also was attended by Rick Davis, the McCain campaign manager, was spearheaded by Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a former telecommunications entrepreneur and “Hillraiser” who brought in more than $100,000 for Mrs. Clinton’s campaign; Calvin Fayard, also a former Hillraiser and longtime Democratic donor from Louisiana, and Miguel Lausell, a former senior political adviser to the Clinton campaign from Puerto Rico.
Reply
Other prominent former Clinton supporters in attendance included John Coale, a former Hillraiser, Washington lawyer and husband of Fox News television host Greta Van Susteren.
Everyone at the reception contributed $28,500 to McCain-Palin Victory 2008, a joint fund-raising committee for the Republican."
Beautiful.-

Red, it's not politically correct to talk about males in sexually derogatory ways in public. The culture still only condones perpetrating such attacks on females. You're a little "too" progressive, and the majority won't stand for it.

May be they took a look at the facts and realized the the danger for the USA under an Obama Socialist?Communist Disaster. The USA's enemies are drooling at the thought of Obama. They love the naive inexperience weak amateur. Where there have been young leaders in the past, they had over a decade of (real)experience, yet we paid a price for it.

They are not going to lose. Aol polls say McCain is ahead and so does congress.org. I got an email to pledge a vote for my candidate; http://www.congress.org/congressorg/headlines.tt I went and guess what McCain is ahead over Obama... 47.4% John McCain(Republican)...41.2% Barack Obama(Democrat). Now tell me again the media isn't bias. Aol shows McCain is ahead, and congress.org shows that McCain is ahead of Obama. …………….BATTLE GROUND STATES CURRENT RESULTS (EV=Electoral College Votes)Colorado: Obama 49.3% ---McCain 39.9% 9 EV, Florida; McCain 50.8%-- Obama 37.1% 27 EV, Iowa Obama; 41.5% McCain--- 41% 7 EV, Missouri; McCain 50.7% -- Obama 37.0% 11 EV, Nevada; McCain 46.8% -- Obama 34.6% 5 EV, New Hampshire; McCain 50.8% --- Obama 36.3% 4 EV, New Mexico; Obama 48.1% -- McCain 45.9% 5 EV, Ohio; McCain 48.2% -- Obama 39.9% 20 EV, Virginia; McCain 49.0%-- Obama 39.9% 13 EV

I agree that the media lies regularly but I am confused at this whole campaign. We have McCain who has been a major thorn in Bush's back side for almost 8 years. He was the media's darling. Then you had Clinton who again was a part of the media love fest now you have Barrack. Another media love fest. As a conservative, none of this lot would be my first choice. Very confusing how the media has selected the candidates of both parties.

Excellent observation! Then, enter the new GOP VP nominee, and DC and , of course, the major media instantly go into attack mode. Ever see "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" with Jimmy Stewart...?

The forces in play are astounding!!! The implications are almost incomprehensible. Enter, stage left, the new World Government...

Okay I am voting for Cynthia because I don't support McCain and I will not vote for a sexist prick and his followers, but the thought of you and more sexist pricks like you leaving the country is pushing me towards voting McCain. If JJ Jr, Obama, Dean, Kerry and DB would all threaten to leave if Obama looses I would go and vote McCain tomorrow and everyday until the election. Heck I would even vote McCain twice on election day for that.

Joe Leiberman may have a "little" more insight into what is going on than you do...
Reply
He is a man of honor and not a sellout like so many self serving, narcissistic entities we have in congress today, on both sides of the aisle...
I may not usually agree with him, but he is one of the few honorable men left in Washington. He has the courage to speak his heart, not necessarily what the current pocketbooks dictate.-

I heard Hillary Clinton speak after Obama won the third debate. I must admit that I hadn't liked her very much before, but she earned my admiration with that interview in which she unconditionally supported Obama. She showed that she can put the country's interests ahead of her own ambitions, and that's admirable.
