I'm doing my best to avoid high fructose corn syrup. No sodas or factory deserts. You really have to read labeling. In many breakfast cereals, it's really more than 50% of the product. Often it's disguised under a series of different names.

It is not just high fructose corn syrup that can lead to leptin resistance. Sugar and fructose - fruit sugar should be on this list. Fructose can be found in many foods " Honey, tree fruits, berries, melons, and some root vegetables, such as beets, sweet potatoes, parsnips, and onions, contain fructose, usually in combination with glucose in the form of sucrose.
