McCain's Parent's Were Even Liars - A Must Read »
Posted By andresmithprospers 1 year, 2 months ago in NewsCan you really be anything you want to in life, or does the conditions have to be set?
That has been a real interesting question for years that deserves real straight up answer?
We tell our children that they can be anything that they desire, right? Why are we not telling them the whole truth? In some cases, in my opinion, the conditions have to be set in order this to be absolutely true.
True enough, some barriers are being broken in many cases. For example, years ago, the condition to be an NBA player was that you had to be a least 6 feet tall. The condition has now changed, because the truth of the matter is that all 6 foot tall basketball players aren’t that great!
Would you want your child saying, “But, Mom and Dad, I’m the best player on my college team, but I can’t explorer a career in the NBA because I’m not 6 foot tall. That would make me very upset as a parent, and even if it weren’t my own child.
Out of all of the practices, hard work, extra hard work, this one condition keeps this person from being what he desires to achieve, although his parent told him when he was young that he could be anything that he desires to be.
Let’s take a super model, for an example. The condition is that you have to be a least 6 foot tall and extremely thin, give or take a little. There are shorter models and non-thin models that the world would probably consider more beautiful or better suited for the job, but, we run into this condition issue once again…
You must meet the 6 foot height and weight requirement in order to be even considered.
Imagine telling you beautiful daughter after all of the beauty pageants, fashion shows, etc., that she might as well give up on her dream in becoming what she desires because of these predefined and sometimes unfair conditions.
Well, what if your little boy said, “Mom and Dad, I would like to be the President of the United States of America.” And you as a parent says, “Son you can be whatever you desire. Just work hard, study hard, seek God and achievement, and you will be fine.
Time goes by… He grows up… And he successfully does all of the things that his parents told him, but right before he starts preparing himself for his campaign, his parents call him and says, “Son we are proud of you, and your great success, and achievements thus far, but we forgot to mention one condition that’s required to pursue the Presidency of the United States,” the Father and Mother reluctantly says, Son you must be a “ Black Man.”
There have always been “Black” Presidents of the United States since the beginning of time, so reconsider your dream, although I told you that you can be anything you desire. Son, I’m Sorry… This position of honor is only for “Blacks”….
Now Imagine that Son or Daughter being your very “Own”.
