"very disappointed in Powell for making the choice to abandon his party and a comrade in arms (McCain)"

Perhaps Powell feels the presidency is more important than merely supporting his "comrade in arms (McCain)"

Guess so ... He said he made the choice because he feels that we need a new, fresh young face leading the country because of all the young people out there. He also said Palin is inexperienced, etc. ad nauseum. He then said that on the other hand (or other face) that he would like to have McCain in power in a time of crisis and when experience is needed ... 'nuff said.

ad nauseum? He said she was to a distinguished woman and to be admired, but he didn't think she was ready to be president.
