Posted By Karlyc 1 year, 3 months ago in Political NewsJoe Biden continues to try to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for Barack Obama. In a stunning statement, Biden acknowledged that Obama' s lack of foreign-policy experience will provoke America' s enemies into creating an international crisis. Biden apparently thinks this is just terrific:

Isn’t this an argument for electing someone with more experience? Why should we elect a man who will embolden our enemies and push us to the brink of disaster? Biden seems convinced that electing John McCain will make our enemies abroad much less sanguine about provoking us — which is one of the best arguments yet heard for electing McCain.

Is it really another Biden "gaffe"? Gaffe meaning Biden telling the truth inadvertently.
Or was this really something else?
Is it that Biden knows something and is looking to warn people about Obama's potential presidency and the real risks of war it brings to the United States and rest of the world. -

But then I expect nothing more from the Repugnant Cons.
Biden said NOTHING about Obama's inexperience being the reason he will be tested.
Considering the craphole BushCheneyCo has gotten us into around the world I think Obama will be lucky if he gets three months in before some country self-destructs.
Isn't it good that he'll have Biden and someone like Colin Powell to add to his own knowledge and intelligence on matters like this rather than talk about attacking someone right off the bat, then muttering something about 100 years, then saying he's going to stop being president until the military crisis is over so he can concentrate on the military crisis? -

Well once again we have the israel-firsters at the silly Michelle Malkin site trying to scare americans into votring for the ZionCon candidate (McCain) in their hope that they can continue killing americans for zionist expansion and crimes against humanity.. Time to root these people out of our government, our politics and our media.

Turning the Tables on the Israel-Firsters
by Michael Scheuer (Michael Scheuer is a 21 year veteran of the CIA)
...The idea that there are U.S. citizens who have equal loyalties to the United States and Israel is passé. American Israel-firsters have long since dropped any pretense of loyalty to the United States and its genuine national interests. They have moved brazenly into the Israel first, last, and always camp. Sen. Joseph Lieberman, Norman Podhoretz, Victor Davis Hanson, the Rev. Franklin Graham, Alan Dershowitz, Rudy Giuliani, Douglas Feith, the Rev. Rod Parsley, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woolsey, Bill Kristol, the Rev. John Hagee, and the thousands of wealthy supporters of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) appear to care about the United States only so far as Washington is willing to provide immense, unending funding and the lives of young U.S. service personnel to protect Israel. These individuals and their all-for-Israel journals – Commentary, National Review, the Weekly Standard, and the Wall Street Journal – amount to nothing less than a fifth column intent on involving 300 million Americans in other peoples' religious wars, making them pay and bleed to protect a nation in which the United States has no genuine national security interest at stake.
...The Israel-firsters started the Iraq war and now have the United States locked into an occupation of that country that may not end in any of our lifetimes. Unless Americans ignore the likes of Hanson, Podhoretz, Lieberman, Woolsey, and Wolfowitz, the cost in blood and treasure will ultimately bankrupt America.
...American voters must start using the democratic process to begin removing themselves from the religious war known as the Arab-Israeli conflict. Disengagement will take time, hard work, and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law. Three actions are well within the voters' capability, and their use would bring pressure on federal officials to stop killing America's children in wars between Arabs and Israelis. -

1. Voters should press federal representatives to end taxpayer funding for the National Endowment for Democracy and other such organizations. These organizations' main function is to promote the fallacy that U.S. interests are served by making sure that Israel – "the embattled island of democracy in the Middle East" – is protected, and that the lives of American children should be joyfully spent to bring democracy to foreigners in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
Reply
2. Voters should not vote for any candidate for federal office who accepts contributions from AIPAC or any other Israel-first organization. This decision would be an important step in beginning to sweep clean the Augean stable that is American politics.
3. Voters of all faiths must press their religious leaders to regularly, publicly, and specifically denounce the evangelical Protestant preachers whose fire-and-brimstone support for Israel involves Americans in religious wars in which U.S. interests are not threatened.
Neutralizing the Israel-first fifth column must be done, but it must be accomplished using legitimate democratic tools: voting, lobbying, free speech, and support for candidates pledged to keep America out of other peoples' religious wars. The invocation of the anti-Semite epithet by the Israel-firsters should be ignored. To be silenced by the slurs of the Israel-firsters is to ignominiously invite the end of American independence by subordinating U.S. interests to those of a foreign nation, as well as to forget the warning of the greatest American. "If men are precluded from offering their sentiments on a matter which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences that can invite the consideration of mankind," George Washington said in March 1783, "reason is of no use to us; the freedom of speech may be taken away, and, dumb and silent, we may be led, like sheep, to the slaughter." As long as the Israel-firsters can define the limits of acceptable public discourse, Americans are on their way to the slaughter.

Look ... my fellow Christian Conservatives are still trying to SCARE citizens into voting for their candidate! Why? Because ... quite simply ... that is the only way they can get ANYONE to vote for him!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE ONLY WAY! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But okay ... let's look at the concept.
During the Primaries, Propeller member redtomato persistently called John McCain a DODDERING OLD FOOL"". (This was back when this member posted as AlphaGnosis)
See? Even my fellow Christian Conservatives see John McCain as nut ... erratic ... a doddering old fool.
NOW ... they want him elected president!!
A Doddering Old Fool ... just the type of person our enemies would want in office if they were considering a way to attack us.
And just think ... should anything happen to John McCain ... look who would be our next president .... a Beauty Queen Runner-Up.
My fellow Christian Conservatives ... I implore you ... I beseech you ... show America something that McCain ISN'T on the wrong side of.
He's FOR more Trickle Down Economics (Welfare for the Wealthy)
He's FOR staying in Iraq for 100 more years (How to pay?)
He's FOR taxing your Health Benefits (A plan that includes eliminating your work insurance.)
In short ... he's for a continuation of all the failures of the Bush Administration.
And please ... don't tell me he's not a Socialist ... he's endorsed the most blatant Socialist Government in the modern era ... George W. Bush ... and his Socialist Experiment with the $700 BILLION Bail-Out. A plan that calls for Americans to give their money to the CEO's and Banking Executives.
From the Many to the Few ... that's what McCain stands for ... or in other words ... Welfare for the Wealthy.
..
I say ... if you want to protect our country ... don't vote for (in redtomato's words) A Doddering Old Fool.
Even worse, Biden admits that an Obama administration will likely fumble the ball. “It’s not going to be apparent that we’re right.” Really? Why not? I’d say that Biden admits that Obama will deviate from long-held principles of American foreign policy and diplomacy, and expects to reap a whirlwind of disapproval because of that. Where will that be most likely to occur, given Obama’s previous political alliances with people like Rashid Khalidi?
LOL because Obama will get advice from Biden???
You have to remember - Biden was against the surge. Biden's idea was to divide Iraq into 3 regions. Biden made his Iraq plan the centerpiece of his 2008 candidacy.
With advice from people like Biden, Obama is in deep trouble -
Right from the horses mouth. Obama is completely inexperienced in foreign policy and military matters. If you don't believe it simply ask Biden. He knows it to be true and he admits it. I will sit down with anyone "WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS" surely sent a strong message to the sworn enemies of this country. They must literally be shaking in their boots as they plan their next attack us. Somehow I don't find Obama's philosophy as reassuring as "Speak softly, but carry a big stick," What a sap Obama is. Inexperienced and totally in over his head on these matters.
Know the truth and it shall set you free. The simple truth is that this country CANNOT TAKE SUCH A BIG GAMBLE ON SUCH AN UNKNOWN QUANTITY. We have known this all along but to the liberals and Obama's MSM enablers such thoughts are simply RACIST.
I find it curious that Biden's statement comes after BOTH CAMPAIGN received intelligence briefings from the Bush administration just last week concerning potential threats against this country. One has to wonder what does Biden know that the rest of us don't.
The Israelis must be taxiing their F15.s and F16's onto the tarmac right now. If you want to insure a WAR WITH IRAN elect Obama. Israel will not stand silently on the sidelines as this country elects Obama. The Israeli's know full well that an Obama Presidency cannot be trusted to handle these types of matters. Biden didn't particularly endear an Obama Presidency to them when he stated several months ago that Israel must reconcile itself to the idea of a nuclear Iran.
I expect full well Israel will act shortly to their recent statement that they consider Iran an existential threat. After today;s comments from Biden it would not surprise me if they take some sort of action before election day.-
you need to get some perspective........
the European leaders are very afraid of an attack on Iran by Israel
http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSTRE4940...
Biden didn't help matters telling Israel several months back that they have to get over it and reconcile themselves to a nuclear Iran...
and of course it hasn't helped matters that Iran said they would wipe Israel off the face of the earth did it. We live in a dangerous world a world in which Obama does not possess the necessary knowledge and skills for the office that he seeks.
if you can't pt 2 and 2 together that's your problem
this has been heading this way for 2 years now, while you people have been congratulating yourselves and and prematurely celebrating the ascension of Obama to the throne the world continues on its merry way oblivious to what you may or may not like or want. Israel is worried about Israel. -
I'm afraid it's much worse than that. It sounds more like he'll force a surrender. It's starting to make sense, the national security force. To make sure we can't rise up to stop him from creating an alliance with our enemies. He can't trust our military to force us, is it a coincidence he campaigned in Berlin? The Berlin news continually said he advocated The New World Order. He actually said we are global citizens........... -
Terrifying, that Obama's vp basically says that our enemies think that [in my words] "Obama is so weak and indecisive that they can create a crisis and have a good chance of winning."
iran is a clear danger to israel. when the iranians put together enough weapons grade U for a weapon, iran will become a present danger. at that point, israel will launch its own attack.
6 months ago they practiced a conventional attack westward into the Med. nobody is talking how they did. i think its a one-way suicide mission because there is no way to get back unless they can reach Diego Garcia AND we let them....
me? not being in the know, i'm going out on a limb. i figure sometime in March (plus or minus a couple months) 2009, israel is going to drop a couple H bombs in places around iran.
and, as Biden says, it'll be JUST because O is elected and the israelis had no choice, at that point.
this doesn't take into account any games by Chavez, Putin or Kim Il Sung.
None of this will happen with a McCain. our opponents know that retribution will be swift. this was the only thing they knew about Bush, too. -
During the debate Biden was asked what his role would be as VP?
Biden said that Obama wanted Biden by his side all the time.
That means that Biden has to handle all of Obama's foreign affair business, because Obama certainly can't, he has no experience.
Puts Biden in the hot seat, and he doesn't have a very good record on foreign affair decisions.-
Castro also made a fool of Carter by emptying his overcrowded prisons and mental hospitals on the U.S. Meanwhile, Putin is licking his borscht-dripping chops and Iran is preparing to enter the ranks of insane superpowers." -
FTA-Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.
So now the office of the President has on the job training available?
It's not racist to question whether an untested, inexperienced Senator whit no legislative or military record should be our President. It's not racist, it's stupid.-
Most democrats now realize that Obama demonstrated to the world his lack of judgment in picking Biden, an abysmal mistake. They are seeking to cover that up with misdirection by attacking Gov. Palin, who most people readily acknowledge is more qualified than Obama.
Which is why Colin Powell, the son of arch conservative William F. Biden often makes little 'off the wall comments' that people turn into mountains.
This is a HUGE comment (not 'off the wall' type) that even he, Obama's VP pick 'Botox' Biden, brought up as an alert to America given an Obama victory next month. A Himalayan type comment worthy of a National Security Threat. A true warning from a DC insider. One who has 'privy' to security information. A comment that makes the 'bad' colors come up on the warning boards of America. Would 'they' (terrorists) challenge McCain. I think not!
Are Obama/Biden ready for the job? I think not!!
