Posted By jovial 1 year ago in NewsAl-Qaeda is watching the U.S. stock market's downward slide with something akin to jubilation, with its leaders hailing the financial crisis as a vindication of its strategy of crippling America's economy through endless, costly foreign wars against Islamist insurgents.

As I have said many time through the course of this race, research and check your facts. In the political world, seduced by the sound bit mentality, separate the chaff from the wheat. The intervention of foreign interest in this particular race is phenomenal. The misinformation, half truth, misleading headlines(90% are too lazy or ignorant to read further), planted stories with no substance is to be expected. The USA has been in this position before. Remember an old saying," the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Where youth with beautiful dreams can be seduced by fairy tales, those who have grown up to see the nightmares of the real world are not so easy to fooled. In a world of political smoke and mirrors, consider the motives behind the rhetoric. Children may be the future, but that does not guarantee, a bright shining one. Naivety is a trap of youthful exuberance. Where blind hatred and inexperience can mask the truth perhaps one should consider the consequences of all courses of action. Socialism paints a pretty picture of the unattainable dream.

i loved the "son of bush" comment in the article.

since 9/11 i've been saying that the bush administration was giving al qaeda exactly what al qaeda wanted...a knee jerk, testosterone driven, cowboy hootin', excuse for more violence.
we lost the first battle when bush failed to make a definative statement in afghanistan by capturing bin laden immediately. we should have sent in a large contingent of special forces when we knew where he was. we lost the second battle when bush invaded iraq. we've been losing ever since and i don't see a "victory" end game on the board.-

When other nation's see us as being expansionist, a military bully, it's a strategic victory for America Haters the world over.
And the past eight years boosted the effectiveness of the PR coming out of extremists the world over.
Efforts like the Peace Corp do more to undermine our enemies than invading Iraq.

I have to admit that AlQaeda was successful doing what it wanted to do in ruining America, they did that and took the whole world down with them. Only it wasn't AlQaeda that did it, it was GWB lack of leadership and non-focus on BinLaden, greed and the corruption in American government and business. IMHO

If they would look into it they'll find out how some sort of compant was formed and Bush made over $22 million dollars in orivet personal money, food for exchange for oil. If it we'r me I'd bomb them right off the face of the earth. they know Mccain likes to fight and keep wars going, thats the reason AQaeda want so much foe McCain to win this election.

It appears that the McCain campaign has asked RUSSIA for campaign donations. So in addition to making Al Qaeda orgasm, on the other hand he is asking (communist yikes!) Russia for a handout.
FTA:
"One of Russia’s harshest critics, Republican presidential candidate John McCain, has been left with egg on his face after his campaign team sent a cap-in-hand letter to the Russian mission in the UN begging for cash. But Russia says it won't donate, insisting it doesn't interfere in politics abroad."

Sadly, we have not witnessed the worst. Next stop credit card debt and more defaults in the housing industry.

Obviously their plan has worked and they see McCain as being a person who will just follow the path set by Cheney and Bush. -

One thing you can be 100% certain of is that not one of these cats thinks that Obama has ANY connection to the Muslim world, unlike our own true home-grown-never-tell-the-truth-if-you-can-get-awa... terrorists. -

Breaking... The McCain campaign has attacked the post for this story. They are bringing up a counter attack about a Hamas person who endorsed Obama in the past. One big difference. Al Qaeda attacked America, Hamas didn't. They are in full damage control mode. LOL!

well, as usual, we are our own worst enemy.

we help arm the entire third world (already afflicted with the miseries of famine and disease) and then wonder why everyone's shooting each other.
weapons we've sold have been used on both sides of conflicts, not to mention the millions of land mines left over after the conflicts.
since teddy roosevelt pulled us out of our worldly isolation of violent expansion within our own borders, with his interventions in central america and the building of the "great white fleet", we have been becoming increasingly imperialistic. then came our great thirst for oil to feed the industrial revolution.
we are still fighting the battles left over from World War One.
we will recover from this financial crisis. there is more than one "economy" at play in the u.s. we recovered from the great depression plus dust bowl, and we've recovered from every financial melt down since.
but we may never recover from the damage done by our imperialistic interventions across the globe.-

The reason for this I believe is the war industry.
As Ike said Beware of the Military Complex.
You say other economies, well if they have not been shipped overseas, then they are failing, look at the auto industry, USA has more cars than Japan, China,India and Europe put together and it is going kaput.
Aircraft, well before 9-11 Boeing was in deep trouble as were other aircraft suppliers, but Iraq fixed that.
Space, right now for USA to get to the space station you need to hitch a ride on a Russia vehicle. And after 2011 there is nothing for 10 years, and both China and India have now entered into the space race.
And couple that with the crisis that is going on, deep deep do do.
The next POTUS will have his work cut out for him and in some cases falter or fail, not because he is unqualified, but because there is too much staked against him.
When USA gets out of this mess, she will find that there will be 4 or more super powers and she can,t take them all on; so the thinking has to change from what it has been.
And that is why I believe Obama is best choice due to his wanting to approach issues in a different way, whether he follows up on his promises or not we have to wait and see, but he has the right idea; things have to be done in a different way -

cleare: We are indeed our own worst enemy, only I have a different reason for thinking this. I have never seen such a deep division in our nation, as I am seeing at the present time. American against American...questioning each others patriotism, etc., etc., etc. Just as Abraham Lincoln had said "A house divided against itself cannot stand." We need to put the 'United' back in the 'United States'.

at this point, Bush has done everything Bin Laden and al qaeda have wanted him to do: go broke, ignore infrastructure, get bogged down in intractable, multi-front wars, and lose the respect of the world in the process.

...such is globalism and the effort for big business to escape all regulation! And, America, don't forget that Tom Delay said Siapan was a great example of capitalism with its prostitution and forced abortions! The legal case from 2002 isn't even concluded yet with even JC Penney refusing to admit to their sweat shop support!

REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY, my dears, very easily deducted. If those goons think we believe they are looking favorably toward McCain, they want us to think they are cheering so we shall go the other way. They depend on your FEAR and not your common sense. NO WAY do they want McCain and Palin in there and would mow Obama and Biden down without firing a shot.

Reverse Psychology??? Now THAT is smart!

Hmmm, I bet socialist and communist parties in US are also using reverse psychology when they endorsed Obama, right? IT ALL MAKES SENSE!
After all they know that Americans are afraid of socialism. They depend on your FEAR and not your common sense. And no one would suspect that those who are rich like McCain and Palin would turn US into a USSA(United Socialist States of America).
"My gosh, those Commies are brilliant!"

Recently I've began to wonder about McCain's judgement. His pick of Sarah Palin for VP candidate is telling about his judgement. She is not qalified to be the VP (moreover I don't think she's qualified to be a governer).
Reply
Anyway, McCain has made some aweful decisions by being a "maverick." I wonder now about his plane crash in Vietnam. Was he acting outside of good judgement?
I think that's a fair question about his past since he seems to pride himself (like Bush) on his ability to "cut against the grain." He will always do the opposite of what the electorate wants. I think he's just a "a son of priviledge" who doesn't care about the results of his actions.-

Think, what are the consequences of your decisions. Do you love the USA?

The last thing the USA needs at this time is an Amateur. There is no time for on the job training. More Socialist debt is definitely not what we need. Research what and who you vote for, check your resources, do not buy into the hype, think and reason for yourself. Being what one "guppy" called an old f*rt, I have already survived this type situation(Carteryears), and really shiver at the thought of having to go through it again. Therefore the inexperience definitely concerns me. The Socialist leaning is a big red flag. His record shows nothing to recommend him. Pretty words and rhetoric may soothe the soul but do nothing to solve problems.Keep America Free.

Even they know the surest way to the end of America is John McCain. They want our demise and have worked mightily toward that end in steady but small steps. John McCain would finish the big hole that Bush and Cheney have dug for us and they and the rest of the world know it. World markets aren't in disarray for nothing. McCain will continue an unqualified disaster and everyone outside the US knows it. To have this race a tie at this point makes it about race and nothing else and the US remains full of the divisiveness and racial hatred born of the white's enslavement of blacks, disenfranchisement of native Americans and anyone 'not like us.' Throughout our national history we've helped each other and cared for those less fortunate because people with conscience are all inherently 'social'-ists. Those elitists who care only for themselves and their continued personal enrichment on the backs of everyone else are the capitalist-conservatives of today. The foundation of conservatism is sociopathy which features a total absence of conscience or remorse or caring about anyone else or consequences of their reckless self-serving behavior. Sound familiar? Bush, Cheney, Rove, McCain, Palin are all conscienceless pathologic liars and if they're not sociopaths, act like they are. What the hell's wrong with a redistribution of the wealth that's been piled on the wealthiest for the past 8 years with preferential-to-the-rich Bush tax cuts and return government to the same balance we're required to apply to our own individual households over the next 8 years? Before Bush we had a budget surplus and a healthy economy. With McCain we'll continue Bush. How can anyone not see this? Why would anyone want more Bushs**t?

swvmd; I think more people see this than what you think, your not alone on this one, and your right Bush has done nothing for us but give our money away while he gains a profit off it and he dose not care how he and his friends has America in the bind that she's in. We did have have a budget surplus and a healthy economy befoe bush got in, Clinton made sure of that, But like I said your not alone on this one.
