Will1313, I am pretty sure that witchcraft is responsible for the national debt. The Party of personal responsibility denies any knowledge of how it all happened.
Reply
So clearly we need someone in the White House who has connections with an experienced witch hunter.

There are those in the Republican party who wanted to see a culture war this election and have been mostly disappointed, it will be interesting to watch who comes out on top of what's left of the Republican party after this election. Those pushing for a culture war or those pushing for more moderate measures. For the culture warriors, Palin has become their poster child.

I have a feeling people who thought this election got nasty will be looking back on 2008 as warm and fuzzy moment, when the 2012 election rolls around.-

I'm disappointed that you attack a person because of her religion. I went through the article and didn't see how her religion affects her position as a Vice President.

On the other hand, Obama came from a "Black Liberation Theology" religion, he's a Presidential candidate, and holds many fairly radical views.
I you want to discuss Palin's religion, I'll debate you. (I'm sort of bored, right now and I'm sure you want something to attack). -

I agree... especially if the Dems come to control the executive and legislative branches this year. If that comes to pass, put your head between your legs and kiss the economy totally good-bye. Barack, Barney and Chris have kicked off the first leg of the downward spiral with their housing redistribution schemes. A redistribution president and a redistribution congress will put the nails in the coffin. This country is going to have more than a culture war on its hands in 2012. -

Those that brought up Rev. Wright opened the door for this, though to be fair we have been examining the religion of candidates before this election cycle. That's a mistake in my opinion, nobody's religion can stand up to being put under the media spotlight. Religion, like sausage, is easier to swallow when not examined too closely.

Palin's Assembly of God faith has ministries like Exodus (or - as I like to call it - homo no mo ministries) which work to convert gays to straights (we all know how that works out). They are also fervent last days nuts who would love nothing better than for Palin to usher in Armageddon. She is a dangerous woman.
Reply
Now some on my right may think that my view of her is overblown, but I don't think so. And it is the truth.
My hope is that cooler heads in the Republican Party will prevail. I hope that they would return to the core message of fiscal responsibility (a message that is more than just about tax cuts). I hope they reject the religious nutcase wing of the party....
I'm not holding my breath. The religious right has been courted by the Republicans since Jerry Falwell darkened the doors of Reagan's Oval Office in the 1980s. They will not give up their influence easily. They might nominate Palin, blaming the 2008 loss on John McCain muddling her message (yes, she does have a diva complex...)
In a weird way, I hope the Republicans DO nominate her in 2012. She will lose again, and the party will stay in the wilderness...until they realize that "divide and conquer" is NOT a strategy that will work with the American people anymore... -

Sarah Palin stands for no choice no matter what the circumstances for the woman, no sex ed, abstract science.
Reply
All I see is a clear connection between Palin and the religious Taliban. She should run for office in Afghanistan's government, but I bet the women there would feel as I do and say NO! to Palin.
I can't stand the possibility of McCain/Palin in the White House, making decisions that would destroy our great nation from within and mess up the minds of young people by pushing their ultra religious, conservative right wing fanatic views on the younger generation! Let's see progress in science, education, the economy! Let's see our country, the greatest nation in the world, prosperous, wealthy and educated! Let's see progress in technology! Let's end this ridiculous Iraq war costing us billions! Obama/Biden 2008! -

I think it is disqusting the way all of you go on and have such hatred for a woman who believes in Chritian values. That doesn"t make her a terrible person. You don't know her or even try to read up to know her but yet you want a socialist, lier, a friend of terorists, a friend of Rabbi Wolfe.
Reply
I would be proud to have her as V.P. sorry.
She has a degree in Journalism and Economics. she served 4 years on city councel. She was mayor, she ran for Lt. govenor and now for Govenor and has a 82% rate of acceptance and likeabilty from the Alaskan public.
What has Biden done in 32 years of office.
Obama he has only been in office 4 years, two of them running for President.
Do you ever hear him talk about what he has done for Joe Public?-

SHE made her religion part of this campaign by pushing it. I don't care about her religion but she wants to use it to legislate against me and my friends. She also used her religion in pushing an "anti-abortion" stance that will never pass.

Palin's a culture-war commando. Nasty social conservatism plus primitive religious belief, wrapped up in expensive clothes and jest-folks beauty-queen "appeal"--and all in the service of...self-aggrandizement.

Well, Hhuusk, I suppose Palin's religion isn't a problem if it keeps solely to itself.
Reply
Trouble is, the religious right wants the entire world to be made/remade in its own sectarian image. It wants to legislate its own draconian morality.
This is bad news for a lot of people--gays, for example--who just want to live their lives without interference from those who believe they own god, not to mention the truth. -

I guess you haven'e been paying attention, Caribu Barbie has gone rogue. She doesn't class with the Cindy McBeer Heiress Never Worked A Day In Her Hundred Million Dollar Priveledged Life, so Caribu Barbie has taken her 16 retarded children and is off campaining for 2012 already, with the backing of Christian Zionist Antisemites of Alaska and Alabama.

John McSenile dropped incindary bombs on vietnamese children, and you repugs call him a war hero. Last in his class in Anapolis, but due to his admiral daddies influence, he was promoted over the heads of way more intelligent and more qualified people to fly jets, which he then crashed, and spend 5 years in a Hanoi Prison. Baby Killer war hero McCain. What a repugnicon cauldren of liquid crap.
This is the most pathetic ticket in the history of the country, the oldest man and the stupidest evangelical religious zealot unqualified hick beauty queen barbie, as a reflection of what is left of the GOP after the Brains left. You people are pathetic.

See for yourself: Caribu Barbie takes charge of the Senate, cause thats what she thinks a VP does.

See for yourself, a witch doctor preforms a exorcism on Governer Barbie.
See for yourself, as Caribu Barbie blasts a moose with a 30:06 from 20 yards out of her pink Hum Vee, then field dresses it, tearing off the testicles of the Bull Moose with her teeth, and not even splattering blood on her pink bikini.

I think McSenile died in Vietnam, and some alien lizard is wearing the wrinkled McSenile suit. Watch your pets when McSenile is around, its coiled tongue can snatch up small game in a microsecond through the gaping McSenile pie hole. Cindy McSenile is its Stepford robot, to be unleashed if he loses.

Ever wonder why McSenile lurches around onstage, like Edgar in the movie Men In Black? Its the lizard underneath.
Be AFRAID.
